Juicy grilled beef patty with fried cheese portobello mushroom, lettuce and tomato sandwiched between 2 toasted bun topped with shakesauce.

I can see why shake shack fans calling it the best burger in the world. It is definitely one of the TOP burger on my list. My only gripes are the price point, given that it’s a fast food joint and how little the shakesauce is in the burger. I would probably return for the single shackburger.

Verdict: 4/5

One of the BEST char siew I’ve ever eaten! Perfect balance of meat and fat. They render the fat so well that it melts and coats the meat making it so tender and juicy.

Unlike most of other roast stalls, the roast pork has a substantial amount of meat with crispy skin.

Overall, the price is a little bit steep for hawker, but it’s definitely worth it. If you’re on a budget, I will say go for the char siew rice ($4).

I ordered a 10” porchetta calzone for $13. The Calzone contains generous amount of pork belly, melting mozzarella cheese coupled with cherry tomatoes to make the dish more refreshing.

The Calzone crust was baked evenly throughout with a little char on top. The pork belly is really tender and nicely seasoned and the cherry tomatoes complement the meat well. I only wished that the pork belly skin would be crispier.

Reasonably priced and delicious!
P.S.: I saw baileys tiramisu and risotto as well, might return to try them.

Verdict: 4/5

The platter consist of a 500g porterhouse t-bone, a 200g angus hanger, fries, salad and grilled vegetables.

Both steaks are done medium rare as per requested. The steaks are tender and juicy, they are really seasoned well to a point where it doesn’t need any sauce and the avocado butter really complements the steak. My only complain is that some part of the meat is rather tough.

Fries are seasoned well with sea salt and the grilled vegetables, albeit cold, taste really good and juicy.

Overall a pleasant experience and the steaks are good and reasonably priced.

Verdict: 4/5

The lor mee comes with ample amount of shredded meat, big chunks of fried fish, fried meatballs and half of a braised egg for just $3. You can put the condiments by yourself.

The soup is pretty thick and not so starchy. The fried fish is crispy and the inside is tender. Overall, it’s a pretty good bowl of lor mee and it’s really worth it for $3.

Verdict: 3.5/5

P.S. : I was one of the last few customers for the day and the laksa was sold out at 13:00. The stall is closed every Monday and Tuesday.
