Tried the takeaway version of this and was glad they separate the mee hoon kueh from the soup! Soup was interesting: there was a distinct wok hei taste. Unfortunately, it was also pretty oily and there’s not much besides the smoky note. So while it was initially a pleasant change from the usual soup, I got tired of it after a while.

The mee hoon kueh was decent, similar to the ones that I have in Johor.

Tried ordering on their official website for takeaway - while you can specify pickup time, they will call to delay if they are busy so be alert for that.

Food was well-packaged and delicious. Appreciated that the crispy things on top of their silver noodles were packed separately.

We already like the food when served at the restaurant, so it’s good to know their takeaway is also good! (We also think there’s not much diff between medium and small when we takeaway)

This was surprisingly good! The chicken was tender and flavourful (though also very yellow from the seasoning) and I liked the sauce. The fries were decent, if a little on the oily side. Worth it for the price.

This is for seafood fans! The seafood mains (sashimi, crab, oysters, and cooked seafood) were fresh and very tasty. Apart from the oysters, which disappeared immediately after being replenished, there was enough food for the almost-full restaurant.

That said, the non-seafood dishes (like the bread and dessert) were a mixed bag. There was so bread so hard I couldn’t eat it, but another one was soft and fluffy. Most of the desserts were so-so, but the waffle was extremely light and crispy and the durian pengnat was amazing.

If you’re here for the seafood, you won’t be disappointed. But there aren’t many non-seafood options, so keep that in mind if your group has vegetarians or people who can’t take seafood.

This was pretty good! The beef was tender and flavourful. Topped up $1.50 for a lot of fluffy Japanese rice. The sauce is a little on the salty side, so you should probably mix well with the rice first.

Give me all the tea (and sweets and Japanese food)
