got the salmon chirashi don ($23) with mentaiko sauce (additional $2) under the beyond 1 for 1 deal!
the salmon is really fresh, sushi rice is tasty and portions given were just right. (some may find it too small)
will come back again!

what more can I ask for? this dish is my all time favourite and so simple yet yummy.

came here with 2 friends for dinner. ordered the party platter as my friends have not tried this before. we were allowed to change some of the flavours which is great. the szechuan is a favourite among us! we agreed that the original is too strong on the vinegar, making it quite sour, and over powering the taste of the pork filling and overall dumpling. momo's curry was pretty odd... maybe because the texture of the impossible meat did not sit well with our taste buds.
next, the noodles! egg noodles from dumpling darlings are my favourite bc it's flavourful, the texture is bouncy, and overall not too dry. mushroom noodle is my fav, followed by the szechuan minced meat noodle.
lastly, the longan osthmanthus pu er iced tea is amazing and so refreshing, all 3 of us unanimously gave it a 5/5.
overall 4/5!!

tried my very first bagel!
ordered the mermaid with additional cheese and multigrain bagel, and my boyfriend had the cheetos with additional hash brown on cheddar bagel. portions are really filling, and the bagels are so good!! the outer crust of the bagels are crispy and flavourful and soft inside.
love the atmosphere, it's friendly and vibrant where all the staff acknowledge and greet every single customer despite the crowd.
8/10 (price is on the higher side) ~$17 per bagel with add ons.
will return to try other flavours :)

A modest cafe tucked away nearby Simpang Bedok. Food, service, ambience was great!
Got the beyond 1-for-1 mains which is value for money! Ordered the Smoked Salmon & Egg Grilled Waffle Sandwich, while my boyfriend got the Turkey Ham & Cheese Grilled Waffle Sandwich. The buttermilk waffles are crispy and fluffy, not too sweet and not floury. (Drizzle it with the honey which is their own brand, 13 honey!) I think I found my new fav place for waffles! The smoked salmon, turkey ham fillings tasted well with the waffles. Served with honey drizzle, grilled mushrooms, fruits and salad which are nice sides to complement the main dish.
We ordered a flat white, and the Honey Citrus Jasmine drink with Yuzu Jelly & Passionfruit pops! Flat white is great, although not as strong. The honey citrus drink is certainly refreshing, although the honey can be too mild. Would definitely return to try other dishes and their pastries. Hoping to try more of their honey too.

2nd time here at this quiet and cosy place. I love their avocado pasta which is one of their innovative and original creations. Staff here are approachable and friendly. Hoping to try more of their food :)

First tried Merely ice cream at their Sunshine Plaza outlet. So happy when they opened one at Tampines Hub, because its so close to home. This is my favourite place to go for my ice cream cravings! Merely waffles are really delicious too, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and not too sweet. As for the ice cream, most of the flavours will never disappoint. Texture of the ice cream is creamy and rich, without feeling heavy on the taste buds. My all time fav is the Salted Butterscotch. The Oreo Milk, Earl Grey, Horlick and Red Velvet flavours are yummy too :) Plus!! with Burpple Beyond, it is such a sweet deal bc you can share it with your loved ones and try more flavours!

Had the Chirashi Don set ($38++) a good deal with the 1-for-1 Burpple Beyond plan! The sashimi slices were really fresh, the sushi rice tasted good too. Portion wise, it is just right but some may find it insufficient. I guess the price paid goes towards good quality fish. Overall it is a good experience, restaurant was pretty quiet and service was good.

first time at dumpling darlings and I'm in love with the cosy environment, friendly, helpful staff and superb food! the miso mushroom noodles is delicious. noodles are really chewy and flavourful. as its our first time, the staff suggested we tried the set with almost all the dumpling flavours! my fav is the spicy szechuan dumpling while my bf loves the smoked duck dumplings.
the dumpling skin and oil did not overpower the taste of the dumpling fillings which is a plus point.
their ice teas were really refreshing and it complements the food.
Can't wait to be back!
