Delicious and tasted like the ones we had in Korea! The sauce was sweet and spicy, with a hint of aromatic curry. Ddeok was soft and chewy. Especially loved the cheese and sweet potato ddeok. Perfect warm comfort food for a cold and rainy day, Mashiseo!

True enough, the rice cake soup brought me back to my exchange days in Korea. The clear soup pairs great with the kimchi. Comes with a wide range of side dishes which you can top up anytime.

The well marbled pork belly melted as soon as I started chewing on it and was nicely seasoned. Yuzu taste from the kimchi added a nice zing to cut through the oil from the pork.

My go to drink is definitely the yuzu makgeoli, as it has a citrusy flavour while retaining the alcoholic taste of the makgeoli. If you have a sweet tooth, do try the Black Forest makgeoli, which is on the sweeter side. Especially loved the chocolate bits in the drink! Loved the pizza here so much I just had to come back. Tried the cheesy Maru oppa previously, which was delicious. This time we had the Gangnam cowboy, and topped up $3 for the golden sweet potato crust, which was definitely the star of the pizza. While this was yummy pizza, I do prefer the cheesy maru oppa.
