Hvala at 111 Somerset is a zen and minimalist cafe. With different seating arrangement in the cafe itself, one is sure to find a comfortable spot to either chill alone or have an enjoyable talk w your friends :)
Tried out their Matcha Houjicha Ice Blended ($6) and Houjicha cake ($7.50).
The ice blended was fragrant and had a tad of bitterness taste to it.
The cake was on the dryer side. Have to compliment how the Houjicha sauce drizzle was rich w the roasted tea taste! You could taste the old bitterness in it. The cake could have been better if it was was more chilled .
