The chicken leg was soft and tender to the bite that the meat teared away very easily from the bone; and the sauce was sedap with intense flavour and aroma from the spices. Added some long beans ($1.20) for additional texture and crunch. Overall absolutely tentatlising to the taste buds that left me finishing up a whole plate of rice. 😋

I was impressed with the beef rendang which was tender as the meat easily pulled apart, and the flavour was greatly enhanced by the spices, seasoning and hours of stewing work. The begedil was nicely seasoned and fried but a bit too dense as compared to others; while the vegetables and sambal tahu tempe were pretty average. Overall a tad too pricey at $9.30 though the beef rendang was really sedap!

3 packets of the grilled chicken + potato frikkadels ($23.70)

Served with grilled tofu and tempeh, the grilled chicken tight was well marinated and coated with sweet coated. The cut chilli in black sweet was a fiery kick which added an oomph. Overall pretty average as the chicken was not tender nor exceptionally tasty.
