Moroccan Food

What sorcery is this! I am never a big fan of lemon chicken (because it reminds me of chicken chunks drenched in lemon cream- yikes). But this rendition is soooo good I couldn’t believe what I have tasted. The chicken is braised in saffron onion sauce served with their homemade preserved lemon & Moroccan olives. I can taste none of those artificial lemon flavouring- only umami coming from the chicken jus and saffron onion sauce. Chicken was so tender and juicy I wish we have ordered more of this.

Super tender lamb shank meat that easily falls off the bone. Besides the lamb shank, the couscous is also slow cooked in the lamb and spices broth with 7 kinds of vegetables. The couscous itself doesn’t hold much flavour from the broth, so the dish comes with a bowl of the broth for us to pour to our own plates. Super worth it for the size, 4 of us couldn’t wipe everything clean!
