[ABU DHABI, UAE] Now this was an unexpected find and the brownie was so good!

Their Chocolate Brownie (AED 19) does not seem to be part of their menu, but definitely worth an order. After heating up, the brownie was crispy on the outside and very much melty inside. Each mouthful was bursting with very rich and chocolatey goodness; probably one of the best brownies I had!

To ease down the richness of the brownie, the Iced Latte (AED 26) is perfect. Strong and yet not too milky, the coffee was smooth and aromatic. May be very bitter alone but perfect with the sweet brownie.

Just talking about it makes me crave for the brownie now!

[ABU DHABI, UAE] Was looking for a simple bite with coffee and this cafe had really good sandwiches!

I got the Halloumi Sandwich (AED 20) and a rose latte (AED 26) . The sandwich had a good firm wholemeal bread with a good amount of fresh vegetables and Halloumi cheese. The really fragrant Pesto spread within really went well with the cheese and I liked how the flavours were strong with such fresh ingredients! The cheese had a great mouthful as well, and added some savouriness to the sandwich.

The rose taste in the latte may be subtle, but the coffee is very smooth and aromatic. Definitely good beans used. This might be too sweet of a coffee for some! The normal ice latte may have been perfect.

Great place to go if you are working nearby!

[ABU DHABI, UAE] Chanced upon a pretty humble looking Lebanese restaurant and their food quality really surpassed our expectations.

We got their Hummus (AED 22) to share, and it's probably the best hummus we had in our lives! It's incredibly smooth and fragrant, and was perfect with the really fluffy bread by the side. The bread was sweet and really addictive! The combination was so good we just had to get another!

The falafel (AED 20) were what I believe fried grounded chick peas, and it had a good crust with a semi creamy inside.

Now the grilled half chicken (AED 47) came massive, and it had such a beautiful smokey flavour, coupled with aromatic spices that makes this a flavour bomb. Although the chicken may be a little dry, this can be easily resolved using the sauce given by the side. Fries were crispy and fluffy too!

The service from the staff were amazing too. Definitely a place to go if you are in Marina Mall!

[ABU DHABI, UAE] Famous for their grilled meats, this restaurant offers quite a few different types of shawarma and burgers, as well as some luxurious spreads of meat. We had one of their specialty, camel shawarma (AED 68) and I must say it was amazing.

You get 2 sandwiches stuffed full of grilled camel meat that has a smokey flavour coupled with a wonderful blend of savoury spiced flavour that makes you go for more. The meat isn't too dry and does not have any foil odour. We loved the bread as well, as it was rather crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Fried were on point as they were crispy yet fluffy!

If you don't mind spending more, you may go for their steaks. We had a conversation with the chef and he worked with salt bae himself! Standard of his grilled meats are probably worth checking out 😽

The Cheese Shawerma / Grill House

[ABU DHABI, UAE] I was looking for a good coffee in the morning and found this cafe with a variety of crossiants!

I had the plain butter crossiant (AED 16) and I must say, this is probably one of the best crossiants I've had. It had a very crispy flaky crust, with a fluffy chewy inside. The butter taste is strong and extremely fragrant! The online reviews really did not lie when some said that they have one of the best.

Do pair your crossiant with their coffee! I have a flat white (AED 24) and it was delightful. The coffee was smooth and aromatic, and the latte art was really on point!

[ABU DHABI, UAE] Now one thing unique in Abu Dhabi is camel meat. This is Hashi (AED 83), which is slow cooked camel meat over rice. The meat itself is extremely tender and you really don't have to bite much! The meat is similar to mutton but without the gaminess. Definitely still a flavourful one with all the spice marination! The amount of rice given is really a huge amount, and it's wonderfully fluffy and fragrant. Do pair the rice with the yogurt and spicy tomato paste given for a flavour bomb!
