The ambience is a bit gloomy. Service is good, but the food is mediocre. We had kalbi, pork collar, kimchi beef stew, and seafood pancake. ALL are inferior to the Korean joints in Tanjong Pagar? Only convenient if you live in the Orchard Rd area and are too lazy to go far.
In addition to pot rice, they have recently added ginseng chicken, fried chicken, and some other Korean dishes (but no dog meat). The food is good, but a bit too pricey for what it is. Service is haphazard; we waited a long time and had to remind them to bring out our soju order.

Visited the new outlet at Wheelock Place. The food is pretty good, although the pot rice dishes are a bit pricey. But hey, this is prime Orchard Rd!
The worse thing about Nae:um is that it’s extraordinarily difficult to book a table. The fusion food is exceptional, lots of French influences but still retaining a Korean soul. Excellent service by friendly staff. Michelin got it wrong again: Nae:um deserves two stars!
