Visited Seng House for its interesting fusion on Western and Hainanese cuisine and it surely did not disappoint! Tried the carrot cake with crab meat which had a very nice charred taste and having that crab meat on top of the traditional carrot cake really added layers to the taste. I also got the burger as well that came with a well-seasoned juicy patty and the aioli paired very well with the burger. Highly recommend this place if you trying something different and unique!

Had the chance to try the Porterhouse platter which was cooked perfectly with medium rare! It was tender and the sauces went very well with the steak. The crispy pork crackling surprisingly did not taste oily at all and had a nice crunch with it. Finally, ended it off with a classic tiramisu that was very well-balanced! Not forgetting, how helpful the staff was in introducing to us the menu and the dish itself as well :) Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice cozy steakhouse.

Had a wonderful evening with delicious food and unique cocktail! Ordered the steak which was tender and paired well with the crunchy brussels sprouts. The cocktail was presented nicely and the bartender was very passionate in explaining each element in the drink. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for good food and drinks!

It has a nice ambience, perfect for family and friends! Managed to try some of their starters and mains which were all amazing. Personally, the dry-aged kingfish and the signature fish burger were my favourites. It is definitely worth a try as the kingfish were cooked in 2 very unique methods which really elevated the dish! Do give the restaurant a try if you’re looking for a nice ambience with good food.

Tried the ribeye steak and was cooked perfectly! The sauce went very well with the steak by adding layers of flavours to the steak. The ambience is nice as well and most importantly it is quite central. The fried calamari along with chilli oil was such a unique but good combination! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a decently fancy restaurant in the CBD area!

Tried the Kampung Chicken which had a big portion despite it being a half chicken! The chicken was tender and it went really well with the fragrant rice. The restaurant was clean and air-conditioned which was definitely a bonus! If you’re looking for a nice chicken rice spot, this is definitely a must try!

Had the chance to try this authentic steamboat place right in the city centre! The staff was very hospitable and the ingredients were all very fresh. I can say that the tomato soup base was one of my favourite so do give that a try if you like tomato soup!

I had the chance to try a few of their popular dishes and it did not disappoint! The menu is very extensive with a range of dishes to choose from even for those that do not eat spicy food. I tried the stone grilled beef and tofu which was very flavourful along with the very tender beef. I also had the fried chicken with dried chilli, if you are a fan of spicy food, this is highly recommended as the chicken was so crispy and paired well with the spice. The stewed fish with pickled vegetable was served with very fresh fish slices that went very well with the soup. Overall, this is definitely a place to visit if you are a fan of spicy Sichuan cuisine.

I had the signature spicy grilled fish, which was so fresh and flavourful. It paired well with the side dishes that you can add into the fish! There is a variety of side dishes to choose from as well. Overall, would definitely recommend if you’re craving for grilled fish and at the same time affordable! :)

Authentic Hong Kong Char Chan Ting food in Singapore. Really enjoyed all the dishes which were well seasoned and served in generous portions. Milk tea was amazing as well.

I’ve tried the pork ribs and it was so tender! There is a nice chargrilled taste to it as well that went perfectly well with the sauce. Portions were huge and it was definitely filling! Do give it a try for all the meat-lovers!

Had the crayfish soup and seafood soup which was both amazing! The soup was very flavorful and fragrant. The portion was huge as well. We got the batang fish and red grouper which was very fresh! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something soupy.
