We had a really lovely dinner at One Prawn & Co. and was attended to super well by the FOH staff.

We got the beef bulgogi with bofun uni and it was super nice. The beef was sweet and tender, and the uni silky, paired with crispy bread.

Then we had the sourdough bread with seaweed butter and honey, the seaweed butter complemented the sweetness well with the nutty and earthy flavours

Next we had the haddock burger and this was the best!! Super tender fish paired well with melted cheese, just amazing 🤩🤩🤩 must order

I had the monkfish with cashew curry and this was so unique. The curry was perfectly balanced between nutty, savoury and sweet. Monkfish was tender and filling, paired with the charred notes of the smoked asparagus.

Lastly we had the ice cream sandwich and pavlova with lime mousse. Personally we preferred the pavlova, as the tropical fruits complemented the sweetness of the pavlova super well.

Chef Gwyneth also served us some Earl Grey financiers of her creation after the meal, thank you!! ❤️

We had a lovely dinner with Ingleside and was attended to very well by Ariel!

For starters, we had the Tuna Tartare Tartelette. Very fresh tuna paired with mushroom shoyu, kombu salt and topped with Kaluga Queen caviar. It was very indulgent and flavour packed.

We also tried the sourdough bread paired with the seasonal butter made from smoked splitpeas. SUPER NICE - i loved the slightly nutty and charred taste of the butter. Very smooth and not fatty.

For mains, I had the venison tenderloin as recommended by Ariel. We had this rare and it was the best choice. It was so tender and cut through like butter, so rare for venision meat. Flavour packed and the vinagre from the puree cut through the meat to not have any game-y aftertaste.

We also had the lampino iberico chuletero and this was so delicious.. the pork next level melted in our mouths. So heavenly and perfectly smoked. I loved the marsala sauce, it was nutty and sweet and complemented the savoury notes of the pork.

The vibe of Ingleside is very warm, ambient lighting perfect for date nights or a get-together with friends.

Really delectable experience at Sushi Muni! We had a the lunch set with salad, chawanmushi, soumen, 7-course sushi, tamagoyaki and dessert. Thanks to David for making the experience super enjoyable, he patiently explained each dish to us and ensured that we ended in time as I needed to rush off!

We started with a light, tangy salad with fried lotus. Then we were served chawanmushi steamed with bonito innards (otherwise known as skipjack tuna). It was very silky and had hints of miso and yuzu in it. At the bottom there's shiratama dango which made for a pleasant surprise.

Then, we had the chilled kuzu somen noodles, which was one of my favourites. Very chewy and refreshing as it was paired with grated radish.

Afterwards, we had several sushi pairings:
- Spanish mackerel with seaweed soya sauce (milder taste to start)
- Maguro (fresh and citrusy)
- Shima aji (stripejack that was paired with yuzu instead of wasabi, flavours started to be stronger here)
- Ootoro (my favourite - so buttery and soft)
- Ika (chewy in nature to balance out the softness of the fish)
- Uni (another one that rivals my favorite, buttery, soft, and melts in my mouth)
- Hotate (slow cooked scallop that was mildly sweet and not at all hard)
- Ootoro maki roll with sesame seed and radish (made with the same fatty ootoro)

We then had tamagoyaki made in the form of a custard cake style, steamed with yam, dashi, fish paste and prawn - so unique and balanced between salty and sweet.

Lastly we ended with white miso broth and mizu yokan, a water jelly dessert made with Hokkaido red bean paste.

The dinner I had at Paradise Pizza was amazing!! We were served by Jo who was incredibly attentive to all of our requests. She recommended us to get the Fried Burrata, Mentaiko Butter Lemon Pasta and Assam Pizza.

Fried burrata was very delicious, not too heavy on the oil and cheese was very oozy. Mentaiko pasta was super unexpected, tangy, salty, and very rich with umami flavours. Assam pizza was just the right amount of spice, with Asian favourites like the tastes of ginger, lemongrass etc. We had tiramisu dessert to end the night, very indulgent and sinful :)

I tried the Taro Yogurt with Boba and I really enjoyed the sweetness that came with the pearls! The taro was nicely blended and had a very nice consistency, it wasn’t too thick neither too watery. It’s a hearty drink to pair with your meal and guaranteed to leave you feeling full.

I also tried the Mango Yogurt drink and it was surprisingly refreshing with the yogurt! Not too sweet neither it was too sour. It had a nice creamy texture and was pretty filling to the touch. You can never go wrong with mango paired drinks!!

Ordered 4 Nyonya and 4 Hokkien Dumplings and it was so enjoyable, my whole family and I really loved them! The rice was tender and sticky but not gelat, the meat in the Nyonya dumplings was savoury with that sweet umami flavour, and the salted egg yolk in the Hokkien dumplings was so delicious (and not too salty/overly eggy). I enjoyed the kueh salat cake as well, not the usual kind you can find outside! The Pandan top was deliciously sweet and the rice really helped balance it out! Overall, 5/5 experience, and the packaging was so beautiful too!

Super flavourful food! Loved the shabu and prawn here, not too fatty, but super rich in seafood umami flavour. It’s not overly spicy as well which is good, since you won’t feel your mouth burning. I really enjoyed the kuay teow as well. Springy and chewy!

Had an amazing dinner at Meat N' Chill • Steak N' Ribs Restaurant tonight! We ordered the beef striploin, honey mustard pork ribs, and some sides.

The steak was well cooked and extremely juicy, packed with flavours! I love the red wine combination as it elevates the meat to another level. Plus, it’s affordable ($22).

Special shout out to the pork ribs, it was tender and practically falling off the bone. Smoky and salty, and not too sweet (which is good)!

Fries were especially crispy and yummy. Will return 👍
