Had dinner here and the food was superb. It's the local flavors that we're familiar with but done with a twist to really bring out each dish.
We had the Hainanese Pork Chop. It was huge and the cut they used was so juicy and tender. Definitely worth getting if you're looking for a hearty dinner!
We also got the Bao'd, Pork & Satay for sharing. Again, the pork was amazing and equally good. This dish was my favorite as it felt really well thought out. They satay sauce and pickles were balanced perfectly and compliments the pork well, without overpowering it. Highly recommend giving this a try.
Ended off with the Fried Ice Cream and Banana Cake for desserts and it was so unique! The banana cake was served warm with huge chunks of walnuts and the coconut ice cream matched it well.
Overall, the dinner was amazing and we could tell each dish was well thought out. All of the components for each dish matched perfectly and really brought out each other's flavors. It's always heartening to see local flavors being modernized well. We'll definitely be back!
This place offers a variety of prawn-based food and the ones I had were all amazing. The claypot hokkien mee is probably one of the best I've had! They're generous with the prawn and pork lard, and the umami of the chilli that came along with it paired really well too.
I also got the har cheong gai and ngoh hiang as sides and they tasted great as well. Would highly recommend the har cheong gai as it was fried perfectly with a good crisp.
Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're a prawn lover!
Cozy ambience and the staff were really friendly and accommodating throughout our meal. We ordered the Deep Fried Burrata, Bismark Blanc Pizza, Wagyu Bolognese Pasta, and Tiramisu for desserts.
The fried burrata was unique and paired well with the tomato base.
The sourdough of the Bismark Blanc Pizza was amazing and had the right amount of chewiness. The toppings, especially the sous vide egg, elevated the flavour as well. Highly recommend giving their sourdough pizzas a shot!
Finished off the meal with Tiramisu for desserts and it didn't disappoint as well. Enjoyed our meal here, and will be back for sure.
Came across this bakery located along the entrance of Cold Storage and saw that the prices were reasonable and gave it a try. Got a mix of scones and a quiche and was pleasantly surprised by its quality.
The scones were buttery with a crumbly exterior. Got a cream dip to be paired with the scones as well and it definitely added to the overall taste of my savoury scones!
The quiche was also creamy and flavourful, and it can be very convenient and easily heated up for a quick treat.
Had dinner at this reasonably priced Hong Kong eatery and really enjoyed the food there. Give their signature Peanut Butter French Toast a try! The toast was not overly oily and the crunchy peanut butter further added to the dish. The baked rice was also generously portioned and was tasty.
Great service with a cosy atmosphere. ambience! Food portions were generous and their Signature Pork Ribs were well marinated and tender. Their pork ribs are definitely one of the better ones I've had.
Would recommend! 😁
