You Guys MUST Try

Can’t believe how long it’s been since I last had this. Have yet to find a better Thai beef noodle (and at $5 come on) so I’m very happy to remind myself how good they are! Soup has amazing depth, noodles are chewy, the parts are all good and it comes with a full plate of basil and sprouts which are just 👌🏻. Add on Chili flakes for full effect!

Since the first time I tried it, I’ve never failed to order this before a movie at The Projector. It comes loaded with nacho cheese, guac, sour cream, a nice tomato salsa and beef Chili con carne — these are simply the best nachos of all time!!!

Pro tip: before bringing into the theatre, spend some time rearranging the chips. Bring the bottom ones to the top and spread all the toppings around evenly. Then you can eat in peace in the dark knowing you’re getting a little of everything.

Wow super bitter and fragrant but in the best way possible! If you like IPAs, you’ll love this. The Genmaicha is intense and really comes through. Didn’t expect the grapefruit to pair so excellently with it. A must-try for those who prefer less sweet and fruity flavours and something more complex!

SO GOOD. Their noodles are fabulous, the soups are full of flavour and not a lot of heat at all. I enjoyed both the pork and mutton.

Came back for this baby. I know it doesn't look the most amazing, but it's such a festive sandwich it makes me feel all warm n fuzzy inside. The turkey was even better this time - moist beyond belief, and the aroma of brown butter totally irresistible. The stuffing made the sandwich flavorful and moist without falling apart, and the cranberry just balanced everything. Gonna eat this as many times as I can before the year ends!

If this happens to be in season, which it is right now, GET IT. You'll never find a curd so luscious and tangy, and a tart base so consistently satisfying. I dare say it's the best tart I've had here!

At $24.90, this is amazing value! Thick slices of fresh hamachi, salmon, hotate, tuna, tamago, meikajiki and ikura. This is a must-order dish, you will be so satisfied with the quality and quantity of beautiful fish. Tip: order their freshly grated wasabi to truly enjoy your chirashi.

Inside this salmon aburi roll lay perfectly crispy fried prawn that just blew my mind. The contrast in texture was heavenly!

A signature dish of Lolla's, this deserves all the accolades it's received. Fresh sea urchin (or uni) is heaped on top of a slightly firm black squid-ink custard. Superb.

Nothing beats having doughnuts made fresh upon order. These boast a lovely light crunch on the outside and a light-as-air centre. A generous dollop of the zesty lemon curd completes the gastronomic trip-out.

Crispest bacon with sweet, stewed apples with perfectly eggy brioche. The bacon was crispier than before, the hazelnut butter more unctuous. I've had this 2 Saturdays in a row, and I'm already looking forward to next weekend.

Brioche French toast with house-made hazelnut butter, stewed green apples, crispy bacon. Hands down -- the BEST French toast I've ever had. Eggy, fluffy brioche with not-too-sweet, perfectly stewed apples complemented by salty bacon. Each bite was balanced and satisfying, a must-try for sure.
