Really numbing dishes that we loved! [DOWNTOWN, SINGAPORE] Fancy some quality Chinese dishes in a classy yet casual ambience? @numb.restaurant offers such experience in the heart of the downtown working area. Their beef dishes, Stir-Fried Beef with Fresh Chilli & Ginger 🍖 ($34.80) and US Beef in Golden Broth with Sichuan Peppercorn 🍖 ($37.80) were stellar. Both beef slices were tender & well seasoned, with the latter slices thicker. They really lived up to their name, as it was really numbing 🔥 the garlic pieces were abundant and had so much umami! Don't miss out on their Typhoon Shelter Fried Fish 🐟 ($36.80) too, as it was so crispy yet soft and fluffy within. The fish meat was fresh and sweet! The crumbles on top were best with some rice 😍 If it's too spicy, the Blooming Roselle Soda 🥤 ($6.80) is here to help. So refreshing especially with the spicy dishes offered! Smoked apple wood crispy ckn 33.8++ Ew This wasn't crispy at all. It's basically ckn thigh covered with a mountain of preserved veggies. The latter was decent, but this is a far cry from what you expect from the name (like blossom's version) Passable, very expensive for what it was

Dry pot cauliflower 19.8++ Apart from the lack of heat, the best execution I've had. Texture of the cauliflower was tender. The savoury flavours were extremely strong as it should be, and the oiliness was not too much. Spices were there also, and it's right Must try

Value-for-money buffet with straits/ sea view Lovely dinner tonight at Offshore Bar & Grill at Tanah Merah ferry terminal! So grateful for places that welcome dogs & practise safe distancing during covid. Beautiful relaxed vibe，fantastic service & nice food. We enjoyed most the moo ping, satays, grey prawn, asparagus, otah, bacon wrapped enoki, beef cubes, chicken breast & much more! They even have a doggy menu!

false advertising They said they don't sell the seafood bucket anymore but they did not update burpple. It was not peak hour or public holiday either. Since it's so far away once you go there you have no choice but to eat the buffet which seems to be the tactic they are using. The buffet was expensive and the taste was not very good, none of the seafood was marinated just raw seafood. The location is nice though & service was good.

Their satay is good too. It’s non-aircon place but there is enough fans and coolers around. Full house by 7pm on Saturday night. We walked in without reservations at 6.30pm and was given a seat. Their satay is good too. It’s non-aircon place but there is enough fans and coolers around. Full house by 7pm on Saturday night. We walked in without reservations at 6.30pm and was given a seat. Will come back for the live band and chill out with friends.

Not Bad Not bad, but quite little.

PS Kaya Toast To make yourself less guilty about having Singapore kaya toast, have them with PS cafe’s white ash sourdough toast and pay a premium for it 🤓 Jokes aside this was a nice breakfast item at the longstanding food establishment!
