Meals used to be a necessity and they still are but they have also evolved into a social event especially when shared with friends. This wasn't an unremarkable dinner because I don't remember feeling unsatisfied. But I was having a great conversation with a friend and the food tasted good enough to not get in the way of the conversation. Maybe even more than good enough..
