Actually prefer the nasi lemak here over the 2 other well known stalls :)
Mee Rebus, if well cooked, can be quite a gastronomic goodness. The mutton broth married with the right amounts of spices, sweet potato and generous garnishings of celery, fried shallots, green chilis and tofu can leave you with a satisfying meal. This hawker stall definitely makes good mee rebus ($3) IMO. Add a piece if otak-otak for $1. Too bad the begedil (potato cutlet) was sold out because it really tastes good with mee rebus 😃
Mee rebus is one of my fav. It's not easy to find a good one. This stall's gravy is made from mutton as I actually had a piece of it. Though it's not great but it's still good. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 August 31.
Power breakfast with this bowl of SEDAP mee rebus, of gorgeous sauce that is rich thick and delicious. Follow the Malay regulars and asked for a fried chicken wing, and this bowl will send you to heaven and beyond. The sauce coating the oh-so-well-fried chicken wing, gives the chicken many dimension of texture. The saucy gravy to the crispy skin (well-fried) and finally to the soft juicy meat! Sing hallelujah 😋
