Yi Lu Fa Hong Kong Style Roasted Meat (Marine Parade Central Market)

Was contemplating between Kun Ji (my go-to for HK Roast at Marine Parade Food Centre) and this stall and ended up trying something new since I wanted noodles. The roasts weren't particularly spectacular but if I had to pick one, the Roast Pork was better with a crisp skin and slight smoky flavour, though the ones here felt a tad lean. Noodles were springy but the chili works wonders here; fiery, sweet with a little Sambal flavour that really kicks things up a notch in here!

The star of this mee is definitely the char siew. Well grilled and tender which is hard to come by in a food centre. Niccccce!
