Where else can you find an Aburi Chirashi bowl and a Wagyu beef bowl - both which are slightly cheaper (just because you are in school)!? Although the Chirashi is a bit lukewarm, the taste of its sauce with the Aburi is just great! The Wagyu Bowl was also not bad, with the beef being tender and tasty as well. The fried soy chicken wings, if dipped and soaked in the soy sauce is really good! This is definitely worth a try! #NUS #burpple

The Prime Beef Tenderloin is served along with summer vegetables and garlic fried rice. The beef was served raw, so there was the option to cook over the salt block or the hoba leaf. Leaving the meat on the salt block would make it saltier, while the leaf maintains the natural taste of it.

This was a surprisingly good dish with al dente pasta , sauteed spinach, hazelnut creme and soft tender duck. A must try!!
Didn't realise how poorly taken my photo was but anyhowwwwww this was damn good!! The beef cheeks were so tender and flavourful, and I loved the little crispy, lightly charred bits on the sides. Mash was alright, a little bland but it was great with the slightly salty beef. All these goodness for only $14.90. +mummy boss is really friendly!
A spiral cut smoked duck breast with a spiced Ribena Blackcurrant & Apple Fruit Cordial glaze makes an impressive Easter or Christmas main dish.

Curry was cooked with just enough coconut and flavor. Chicken pieces was generous.
Opened by the team behind Shunjuu Izakaya and located within the busy China Square Central area, Koji Sushi Bar offers a selection of nigiri sushi, sashimi and omakase sets. However, their most popular item is their donburi (rice bowl) -- choose from options such as salmon avocado tartare, tuna tartare, pork cheek and eel. At $17 per bowl, they are one of the more affordable donburi options around, considering the quality of their ingredients. The must-try here would be their sashimi rice bowl - sashimi servings are generous and the crispy tempura bits add a surprising crunch factor.
Juicy chunks of handcut Australian Black Angus beef lined with crunchy capers, cornichons, chives, and petite cubes of beet and onion, topped with a raw quail egg, served with toasted farm bread. An excellent cut of meat—exquisite textures, really—well balanced by the flavors of its complementing ingredients, I daresay this is one of the best steak tartares in Singapore!
