This place has a loft and provides great privacy. A good place to just chill and watch people go by. Good deal 1-1, we parked next door to the mall and love the quietness away from the buzz of Katong

Delivered these to a friend on SHN. If only they provide their ice cream in the background for 1-1 too. As usual the place is packed with people (and sweetness!)

1-1 choc sampling platter only had one set even though we were the first customer. So we opted for mocha pairing. Generally good but supply should have been replenished the night before if the next day is a weekend and they expect an early crowd. Enjoyed the ambience seated on high chairs. A great way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon with friends. Total cost = $33 including 4 cups of caffeine.

Tucked away in the basement of The Plaza, Beach Road this joint is underrated. The uni is so fresh. With 1-1 Burpple we ordered the Shiro $75 and Bafun $65. Personally, I prefer the Bafun with a creamier soft texture. The Shiro has a fuller/harder texture. Happy with both orders as it’s one of the freshest in town. Ordered sashimi, grilled bone marrow and cold noodles too. Total bill for 3 pax is about $283. Well worth it cuz it’s super satisfying!

This salted egg beancurd is different because there’s crab meat inside. I ordered small for 2 pax but it’s huge serving of 6 big pieces of beancurd and broccoli. You can literally see the crab meat so $20 is all worth it! Friendly staff too!

Liking its simple and classy decor of a BBT and gelato joint in da ‘hood. Used 1-1 for milk tea. How nice if they have 1-1 for gelato too.

Haven’t been back here for 9 months. So glad it survived the COVID and is still operating. The portions and ingredients are generous. The Laksa Noodles have two huge prawns. The Claypot Chicken comes with baguette, one drumstick and two smaller parts. Including drinks, I paid $13.40 for 1-1 deal. They even provide you a paper box to throw away the chicken bones and prawn shells. It is definitely an underrated place, friendly staff and simple, yummy food!

They serve juicy chicken thigh which is yums! With 1-1 Burpple deal, our other dish was the spaghetti. The salad was good too. Value for money and students pay even lesser. Good alternative to Swensen’s.

One piece costs about $8. They look so pretty and fits into good insta stories. With the 1-1 Burpple deal, this is so worth it. Have bought it on a few occasions as gifts.

First time here to try the Poke Bowl. Had a Hawaiian and a Japanese. It didn’t come in a bowl, but rather a plate. For the Japanese, the rice seems normal and wish we had the option of lettuce instead. The salmon sashimi was in cubes and great but too little. The edamame and cucumber were simple and didn’t have the same sauce as the sashimi. For Hawaiian, there were lots of onion. 1-1 Burpple deal was great! There were many seats at Jewel, not as packed as other restaurants. Good for a quick and cheap meal at the airport.

Ordered Earl Grey and Golden Oolong with 1-1 deal. The toppings are chargeable though, so I tried one earl grey jelly and another pearl. Total cost was $5.20 instead of $4 plus. The service staff was friendly. Fantastic deal, can claim 1-1 on Eve of PH 😁

I couldn’t get a delivery slot in time. This is the second time I buy from Nasty Cookie. 6pcs for $30 and comes with nice gift box, makes a really nice pressie. Went down Funan and queued for at least 20mins, it’s well worth the effort as it’s value for money. Do not put into micro when heating. Use the toaster for 3-5 mins instead.
