BreadTalk upped the luxe factor by launching 1933 at Capitol Piazza, a vintage-chic cafe that brings out delicious rendition of cuisines from the Nanyang region such as Nanyang Curry Chicken & Hainanese Chicken Rice, hearty soups served in French bread bowl, as well as contemporary Western fare, pastries and desserts.
Though menu prices are not in 1933, you can live with “1933 Coffee” which presents Torrefacto traditional based coffee beans served in trendy espresso style. The Iced Latte I had was clean and robust with the right notes. Power Carrot Soup and Crispy Smoked Duck Spring Rolls were on point too.
Spread some decadent Chocolate Peanut from Mother Earth and Strawberry Jam from Anathoth on the sourdough flat bread I got from Bread & Hearth bakery.
