Was shopping at the Jasons Marketplace earlier, walked towards my favorite snack section and saw the Selecta truffle chips on discount, quickly bagged home a few packets before it gets sold out. SCORED!

I don't mind having XLB everyday. This time we tried their Chilli Crab Steamed Bun which was quite palatable. Wish there was additional chilli crab gravy to dip the buns.

A popular old school Nonya delicatessen kiosk located inside Bukit Timah Plaza serve up limited items such as Mee Siam, Mee Rebus, Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kunyit and Nonya Kuehs since the 1990s.

Saw most of the customers having the laksa but I decided to have mee siam instead. Found that the broth wasn't rich enough, but it was still tasty and satisfying for me.

The kiosk is always packed (limited seating) with long queues in the morning and during lunch time, and usually sold out by brunch hours. Will be back to try other dishes when I'm nearby.

Friday's had never been so sweet until today. These cute macarons were specially hand crafted by the lovely folks at www.themacaronshop.com

We can't wait to sink our teeth into these dainty desserts. Happy weekend everyone!

Another Matcha Bingsu off my list. The matcha flavour is on point with generous serving of toppings such as red beans, cashew nuts, cut almond and corn flakes. The texture of the shaved ice could be smoother and finer.

Back at the Crown Bakery with the queen to try some of the new brunch plates and desserts recently launched. Featuring the Maple Banana French Toast topped with fresh strawberries, raisins and a scoop of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream on the side.

Here's a sneak preview of the lightly seared Scampi tail paired with toasted buckwheat and garden cucumber, a winning dish that I enjoyed the most during the dinner preview.

Once again, congratulations to the winner @rachelxie and thank you in advance for spending an Evening in Paris with Stephanie Le Quellec tonight.

D'Life, a lacto-ova vegetarian bistro cafe located in the quaint corner of Commonwealth Crescent neighborhood serving up Western-Chinese tze char style vegetarian cuisine at affordable prices.

Their cakes however are not vegan-approved, this Chocolate Banana slice is awfully rich and sinful, but I'm not complaining. D'Life open their doors daily for breakfast as early as 7am with full service till 10pm. The cafe accepts only cash terms, but do not include service charge and taxes.
