Pass by this restaurant many times before but did not entry as it seems to be rather rustic. Recently a famous blogger visited and rave about the food here. Decided to visit since we are in the area. So glad we did! The food is simple but tasty. They serve classic Hakka food and such reasonable prices!

Ordered the lunch set which included minced port noodle, preserved vegetable with pork belly, abacus seed, stuffed tofu and salted chicken. We added the pig stomach soup. Unfortunately we were so stuffed we did not realize the chicken was not served.

Read about this bakery which baked fresh croissant and it is sold out. Arriving at 1230 they only had apple danish and pain au chocolat left. Decided to order these to try and true the hype they were fantastic! Definitely worth going early to order them.

Saw many foodies having this. Decided today to swing by early to try it during lunch time. A corner coffee shop with only 1 stall and everyone waiting or enjoying their prawn noodle. Ordered the $10 prawn noodles with pork ribs. Portion was decent and the soup was flavorful yet not tiring on the palate. The soup is probably the star of the dish. Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering it with kway teow which means it was soaking up the soup. Next time I will definitely order the dry version so I can savory the soup.

Recently there is a lot of pao fan stall popping up. Decided to try this so went early to order. Reached before 12 and there was no line. Ordered the signature pao fan. Soup was tasty with 2 prawns, scallops and a few Lala. Pretty decent for a stall in a Coffeeshop.

My favorite to eat at this market. Flavorful sauce with tender meat and silky hor fun. This stall been around for a long time and after getting Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2015 started to open up various branches.

Simple looking stall with no frills and advertising on the front. Was not aware this stall till i saw someone posted about this. Glad to try it. The food was braised nicely with good flavors. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Kway chap.

Nice little cafe nested in Henderson Industrial Estate. Ordered the soy baked chicken thigh and love it. Latte (not in picture) could be better.

One of my favorite stall to visit when having breakfast at Ghim Moh.

Crocodile soup at East treasure. Chinese restaurant by the Aston group with very interesting dishes. Overall food is very good but a tad heavy in taste.

Still one of my go to chicken rice. Tender chicken and fragrant rice. Originally at Margaret Drive then moved to Mei Ling market and other places before settling down here.
