Thick, Creamy, Rich. Melts like butter in your mouth ☺️😍

Complimentary x1 with every 2 orders of meat. It is otherwise $5, served in a hot clay pot. Eat quick or risk it all cooked solid.
And it’s such a warm comforting appetiser to your tummy even if it’s scalding

You know what I’ll recommend here?

Honestly, the steamed eggs, kimchi stew and pancake.

The meats were good not great but if you really want a bbq-something then the pork belly? ☺️

Sesame x Almond

Since when is this served like that. And I don’t expect perfectly halved liquids. But how do I taste it separately if it’s like that?? :(

I love that the almond is silky without any powdery or cockroach repellent finish to it. But I only had maybe 3 bites worth of it?

And I couldn’t taste the bright perky sesame aroma!

$6.50 for 6 pieces + 1 Bowl of noodles

It was a fried oily mess of ytf items with nothing to boot.

But the starchy meat gravy over some equally slippery thick bee Hoon made for some velvety tongue comfort translated across the body 😋 on a cool rainy day and feeling under the weather

I thought the mild cardamom waves definitely perked both my tastebuds and mind every now and then. Made the meal interestingly appetising!!

Well, I think Ethiopian might just be slowly being redeemed by stellar baristas who know to complement and uphold its richness appropriately.

OR, it might just be that single shot in 5oz milk blends, winds up to the best play for the typically sour//intense Ethiopian beans?

It was nicely toned down to a zesty stone fruit finish here at Glasshouse👌🏻

It was clear broth, with popular thin yellow noodles. I didn’t know what to expect for my first yuzu ramen.

But this was enjoyable clear Chicken Broth, with yuzu that LINGERS refreshingly
Although noodles went limp quite quickly, depressing overall mouthfeel, the soup was great! For those feeling under the weather, it will be a comforting dish easy to stomach

Egg was really en pointe too. Haha check out that yolk!

$12 for 1 grain, 1 protein, 3 sides, 1 dressing in the heart of town.

I was pleasantly surprised at the portion. And quality of every component 😊

I added $1 for the ribeye and have NO REGRETS. It was really smokey, well seasoned and hearty a choice of protein.
Great with the perfectly al dente wheat pasta, and Cajun grilled zucchinis.

Can’t miss the Soft supple onsen egg and may I also recommend herby creamy PESTO VINAGRETTE with a touch of ZING .
Amazingly appetising lift to the entire meal!!

Am usually a little late to exploring the boat but I truly am marvelling at their facelift.

Such a clever new presentation of their pastries on old school flooring marble-ish. And exactly like jewellery shops presenting their GEMS

I’m a noodles gal and don’t quite believe in takeaways for saucy or soupy noodles. ESP these egg noodles. I mean why have bloated noodles??!

But these! Delicately coated in onion and pork lard oils — a generally clearer sauce mix THAT IS FULL OF FLAVOUR, somehow are noodles preserving their bites well up to 4 hours into the dabao? HOW?!

One of my favourite sat morning breakfast takeaway for the past 6 years 😌

Be pleasantly surprised by their umami dumpling bombs filled with crispy fungus besides the usual suspects of mince and onions

Hi, I really like this Coffee Jelly and Cream.

I have never had it before and I think I actually like this more than anything else in the restaurant 😱🙊

The coffee was intense and aromatic and even umami smelling? I don’t know but melting it in my mouth left an impeccable savoury ending lift . (Issit my mouth is just yummy) hahaha

And the cream! That tinge of sweet in the full bodied cream is as lovely as soft cuddles to the coffee Jelly??

Salted Caramel, Speculoos, Earl Grey, are really their specialities! Should have gotten 3 so we can lick up all of their best flavours 😋

There’s something about Salted Caramel! The flavours are bold and well balanced but the cream isn’t jelak. It adds this simple light milk fold to the end of every scent. Making their ice creams so palatable!

+ goodness that’s some good waffle. Every bit chewy, every bit fluffy too

fine I cut it with the wrong knife but this. Is some whimsical beauty.

I took a thick slice, toasted it and slathered a thick robe of chunky peanut butter. It was HOT GOOEY AND BEAUTIFUL

(bread was very plain, would have love a tad more sweetness? And I’m really not a sweets lover but I guess there was some expectation by all the colours for this to be at least a little sweet tasting like the white bread loaves from the supermarts?)
