香芋is truly 香芋.

Oozing with piquant savoury yam scents the moment you smush the yam with your tongue against the roof of your mouth 👄

I love how tender both meats are.

The little soy mustard butter on the Hamburg brought a layer of smooth and creamy to the scents piping off the grill too ☺️

Love this meal concept! What with the sauces you can try too! Garlic soy FTW!

Can anyone else see how shrunkenly dry the chicken wings are? :(

You get 10% with a Food Republic membership! Haha.

I love the juicy well seasoned fried chicken cutlet, the springy (so springy) egg noodles and appetising pickled mustard veggies you can feel free to top.

Yet the sauce of the noodles were sweeeeet. Was I surprised that the base flavour given in the important sauce that will coat and meld the meal together is Sweet? For a main course.. for a non sweets lover like me, I found it quite off putting.

I’m sure the fried shallots is sweet in nature yet the soy base is also pretty heavily leaning towards a sweet flavour profile too 🙈 weeelll..

It’s a fragrant dish with ingredients I personally love love. But that sauce.. makes even the noodles not so enjoyable as the taste builds up.

6/10 for me!

Going to be pretty cheeky to classify this under unidentified cos I don’t know if this is main course or dessert.

Just a quick spark of idea. I think the Malaysian style clear sauce/seasoning would be amazing for the noodles. Have that option of sweet and sour spicy in the chilli yknow? To balance out the savoury components of the dish like the meat. And really bring out the noodles 😋

Mildly smashed the stiff butter cream nose but but one can still tell this is the iconic cute chocolate bear from Chateraise right?

There is Soft mousse and there is solid mousse with more chocolate and extra heavy creams. Well, this is a solid mousse.

Sort of like a moist cake pop texture—dense and rich and really sweet. BUT you know it’s more a mousse when your fork still easily cuts through and the dessert altogether melts/disintegrates in your mouth.

4.5/10. Really sweet. Too sweet for me. Even with the cute aesthetics and interesting mouthfeel to this.

The little dark choc ears helps? :)

$7+ I believe for this blend of classy bitters.

(Sorry I took this shot with vibes in mind not a foodie’s storytelling instinct)

For this specific herb, for this specific cheese, I believe is of a bitter variant in their respective categories.
Yet mixed with the savoury pulled chicken umami and bitter fluffy croissant bagel. Well it became a sort of addictive sophisticated gourmet bitter I love 💖 vegans gonna hate but meat has this savouriness that more so easily adds an additional dimension to the flavour profile.

It most definitely added heartiness to this breakfast too! 👌🏻👌🏻

As close as you can get for a purist at heart.

It wasn’t plain bitter, there were layers of nutty, earthy, bitter, fragrance that you vacillate in a single lick.

And of course it was just appropriately creamy and sweetened to bring out all these layers.

Just like an echo in a cave, the smooth finish lingers on for ages too 😭🙌🏻

For $5, you get a whole scoop of BOLD RICH 80%. Cmon.

11/10. You won my heart

POHTAYTOU You are wonderful.

Late adopter to trends in general and I have never had this cos it’s just not in me to have this over meatballs at IKEA you know? So after confirming a distinct drop in the flavours and satisfaction of the meatballs this past 2 years (I found this true sort of across a number of countries consistently), meatballs no longer stood no.1 and I finally gave this a shot!

Loving the creamy fluffy buttery potato cake speckled with broccoli. YUM YUM 😊👌🏻 salmon was aaalright too!
$12 goodness 😋

Yet another pretty looking new spot with healthy customisable bowls to boot

Thumbs up to the use of Sous Vide. Even though reviews were mixed, my chicken breast came tender and authentically flame-torch kissed! Smelt like some healthy wokhey in a salad 👍🏻👍🏻
Meat was thoroughly flavourful in that Cajun Mediterranean sorta rub. I didn’t need the roasted sesame dressing in fact!

That said. $12 for a basic chicken and romaine salad bowl in a small cardboard takeaway receptacle? And that additional $1.50 for a scoop’s worth of avocado... well, this was the major bummer. They say health comes at a price...? Rings true here! 😋

I really love the juicy meat Texas fried chicken has to offer. Tastes fresh and not overly seasoned like KFC.

I also like that they have excited coatings/flavours in every season.

This one does pack a mild peck of spice👌🏻👄

+ that piping hot fluffy honey butter biscuit scone #todiefor

But Texas! You can definitely up your fries game!! 👌🏻

Hot and spicy green chillis
Laksa leaves
Oily creamy salted egg sauce.

Even those little dots of sauce splatter is ART. Just like the bomb tasting dish it altogether is.
