Thank you @nazacorporationholdings for inviting me and my friends over to taste @mydottys new menu. All 4 options looks irresistible. It was too difficult to make a choice so we handed that responsibility to Dotty. We were served menu B and I love every single item in them. Someone call the ambulance please! I have no self control! Too full but still stuffing my face with more pastries.

Cheap and good 😊- that's what I look for in food.

The best of the best ! My family loves it and would always ask my cousin to buy some if they ever come down to KL. This time my parents head down to Ipoh themselves and brought home bags and bags of these babies. The peanut candy is very 'pang' (aromatic) and super crunchy without being too hard so our grandparents with denture can enjoy them too. This confectionary is open daily but their peanut candies are only made and sold at 12pm and 4pm daily. So, go during these time to avoid disappointment.
Rm15 per bag (note: long queue everyday)
Looks like Tau Sar Piah but when you bite into it and it will reveal otherwise. The filling is a pandan flavoured paste with a yolk embedded in the middle. Taste ok 👌🏻

But rest assured, everything on this table is edible - except that 🐿. The dessert I had that day were all well crafted and made with extreme attention to detail. I am just wondering if I could even spot the difference if I were to order two of the same item. You may think it would be expensive, but after trying most of their dessert, I am assured that they are reasonably priced for its quality. Thank you @foretblanc and @sevenvault for the lovely treat again.
One of their signature dish. The fish is fried till deep golden brown. Very crunchy! Reminds me of the texture of popcorn. The tomato based sauce has a kick of vinegar in it for that sweet and sour taste. Have this with a steaming hot bowl of rice, your favourite vegetable dish and maybe a bowl of ABC soup. A meal that is like a hug. Something I need after a long day.
These are better than Ipoh's Heong Peng. The pastry is very crunchy and extremely flaky. As you pick it up, the layers just peels away. They are generously topped with sesame seeds has that mouth watering shiny glaze on top and baked to a perfect golden tan. From the picture, you can see that they are not 'kiam siap' (stingy) with their fillings. What makes them so different from the other Heong Peng's is that their fillings has a hint of savoury tone under it . Yummy ~ Aptly sweet and sticks to your teeth.

The only stall at Sg Lg Pasar Pagi which serves their Ma Lai Ko fresh and piping hot from a bamboo steamer. They are perfectly airy which comes along with a comforting sugary fragrance despite the cake’s plain and unassuming appearance.
RM5 for 3 pieces (as shown above)
Do you know what are these ? Take a guess.
If your answer is either Kaya Kok or Curry Puff, then you are WRONG! These are 'Tau Sar Kok'. 'Tau Sar Kok' is one of those traditional snacks which is on the verge of extinction so it is no surprise if you haven't even seen or heard of them. Imagine the fillings of a 'Tau Sar Piah' encased in a multilayered crispy golden brown puff pastry. The mung bean filling is very moist and flavourful which pairs well with the gloriously brittle biscuit like pastry.
⏰: Bakery opens from Monday till Saturday but they only churn out Tau Sar Kok on Wednesday

After tasting so many fried rice from the ones in hawker stalls to the ones served in mid range to high end Chinese restaurants, I think I have found a place which is worthy to be crowned with the title 'The Best Fried Rice Ever'. Their fried rice has that perfect texture and made with a mixture of brown and white rice. Each grain of rice is al dente in texture with a chewy exterior and a tender bite. The rice is folded with generous amounts of sweet meat, crunchy beans, and corns, topped off with mountains of crispy floss. Very addictive! One bowl will not satisfy that niggling itch in your mouth.
