This is NOT a gimmick whereby they pile a mountain of rice and just layer the sashimi on the surface. Sashimi tasted really fresh, the sushi rice was slightly a letdown. The vinegar rice was a little to heavy for my liking. Overall, it’s was good! Already been there twice in a month for this goody.

Thanks to the hours of cooking, the beef was so soft that it literally melts in your mouth. The crushed baby potato turned out to be just mash potatoes, accompanied with spinach, kale and cherry tomato. It was a rather light dish to stomach.

Featuring the salted egg sauce (left) and the Chili crab sauce (right). Fish was lightly coated with a layer of batter which had a good crunch. Along with the sides, It’s a perfect meal for the big appetite.

However, the sauce tasted slightly flat, without much depth. This isn’t the rich white sauce that I was expecting. As true to it’s name, the small piece of chicken chop was the limelight of the show. Chicken was flavorsome with a crispy layer of skin that I couldn’t resist! Was hoping for a larger portion of chicken instead.

Swirls of green yogurt lean slightly towards the sour side and was light on the palate. However, this fruity treat is difficult to match with the ā€˜crunch’ and ā€˜sauce’. Personally, I think everything goes well with their cookie sauce.

Anyone would have expected that green tea and Azuki beans are match-made heaven. What was surprising to me was the hint of coconut beneath the green tea flakes. Was my tastebud wrong? šŸ¤”

Crayon Pop ($11.90) - Similar to the former, just that the green tea ice cream was replaced by the vanilla. Along with a wide assortment of fruits and the strawberry flakes, it was indeed refreshing!

Love their gochujang sauce which was not overly spicy. Not sure how come our steamed egg seems abit heavy on the salt but otherwise it’s all good! This set comes along with 2 sides which we opted for the Corn cream and Fried Chikin.

Sweet & Spicy had a good ā€˜kick’ towards the end, but the honey butter was a total letdown, it tasted like any other chicken wings. Swirl it over the thick, stretchy mozzarella for maximum goodness! Do take note not to take too long taking photos as the cheese may get burnt! 😬

Rosti held well, crispy with a hint of pepperiness. The serving was quite substantial. Be prepared to wait at least 15 mins as they were freshly made.

The Bara Chirashi here tasted exactly the same as what you get from its islandwide takeaway outlet. Sashimi came in thick cubes, well-marinated without being overly salty. A generous scoop of ikura is added which pops in the mouth! Each set comes along with miso soup and sides. Yums.

Fish cake and cheese meat balls were my favourite and the toppings were FREE FLOW (except meat). Served with a ring of steam egg with cheese which was not evenly spread. Nevertheless, it’s hard to go wrong with mozzarella and so, it still tasted awesome! šŸ§€

Salmon was my favourite for its perfectly grilled crispy skin. The medium steak was juicy without much tendons. Others tasted fine. Platter comes along with 10 sides which tasted good but not memorable. The cherry tomato was the most interesting side which has a hint of sourness similar to the dried prunes. Even though it says ā€œfeeds 4-6 paxā€, pretty sure 3 hungry guys can clear this at ease.
