Imagine a thick hash brown, crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. A hint of pepper came within the Rosti, along with the cream cheese which lightens the dish. The bratwurst was a total letdown, it came with quite a bit of gaminess and it didn’t had a good snap to it. Could have been grilled slightly longer.

This stall is hidden within foodfare at Jurong West. Not too shabby, chicken chop was well-grilled with a slight crispiness on the charred skin. The cheese sauce tasted somewhat like nachos cheese sauce that we can get from the supermarket. Mac n cheese tasted decent, but couldn’t really taste the cheese as the cheese sauce from the chicken chop overwhelms the dish. But still, awesome late night comfort food. Each set comes with mac n cheese, coleslaw and fries.

Luckily only a short queue on a weekday night. There’s only 2 dishes in the menu, original or the triple cheese and it comes along with free flow salad bar and eggs station (any style). Salad bar offers almost 20 different items ranging from the regular vegetables to mentaiko pasta, kani coleslaw, marinated sprouts, soba, etc. Love the free flow eggs and I think I ate close to 10 eggs in this sitting. Buttery scramble egg, sweet tamgoyaki, even the sunny side was good!
As for the main itself, the patty had a crispy exterior while a juicy and soft interior. The light layer of charred on the surface did add flavours to the patty. However, I was rather disappointed that my cheese didn’t ooze out and the cheese wasn’t distinct (even though there’s 3 different cheese). The ebi was the saving grace. The batter was thin and light, and the prawn was really fresh and juicy. Tried 3 of the sauces, except for teriyaki mayo, and I would recommend the Oroshi Ponzi which was light and refreshing.

Using similar complements (clams, squid), this dish boast a richer taste. The base tasted more milky than the usual carbonara that we’re accustomed to, while striking a balance on not being overly heavy in taste. Along with a hefty serving of its signature the chewy noodles, it definitely fills one up.

With more than 70 outlets in Korea, this restaurant serves hearty dishes that seemed like a fusion of Korean and Italian cuisine. This dish is used tomato purĂ©e, along with shredded mozzarella on the surface. However, after mixing them, the cheese wasn’t distinct IMO. But overall its still a decent dish.

@kookscreamery never fail to surprise us with the new unicorn cookie, which encases a rainbow coloured milk chocolate lava! My vote goes to the milk cereal, where you can literally taste the texture of cereal bits beneath the gelato! Earl grey lovers should try their earl grey gelato too! Featured is the nougat gelato.

A variety of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied with bread slices. They were relatively light on the palate, cheeses were not overly rich nor jelat. Suitable for all ages. I personally would prefer if they toast the bread before serving.

Crackling crispness, we chowed down the knuckle in no time. Sausages had a good snap but it didn’t “wow” us in terms of taste. Ribs were “slide-off-the-bone” tender, but I didn’t like the sauce. This platter comes along with 2 sides, the seasonal vegetables were really good! The Sauerkraut... I’m just not used to the sourness. 🙊

Raspberry wasn’t too sweet but it melted kind of fast though. The caramelised sunflower seeds were tad sweet for me, I could literally taste sugar granular.😔

The tofu and cream cheese went surprisingly well and the smoked salmon added a savoury touch, all encased beneath the crispy, toasted baguette đŸ„–
