My personal favorites were the Chicken Satay and Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and Sambal Prawns. The Chicken Satay was very tender. Love the gravy for the Curry Chicken! The gravy for the Curry Fish Head was not lemak enough and was kind of diluted.
Double Fantasy Mango - A rich and fruity custard cream made with Alfonso mangoes, and a milky whipped cream.
There were three choices of the sauce base: ketchup, chili or black sauce with chili. The fried wantons dipped in mayonnaise sauce were crunchy and addictive.
One of my favorite Char Kway Teow. Loved the distinctive flavor of wok hei. The generous amount of crunchy pork lard and bean sprouts added a heavenly flavor to the whole plate.
Chocolate Tart (5 for $4) - Rich and creamy chocolate filling, not too sweet. The Chocolate Tart simply melts in my mouth. The best Chocolate Tart I ever tasted!
Don't mind the messy background :x Bought this Mao Shan Wang Snowskin Mooncakes from Chang Ho Sek which came with the beautiful Limited Edition Nostalgic Tiffin Carrier that I loved! ($90)
Crab Benedict ($20) - Crab Cakes, Two Poached Eggs, Coconut Curry Hollandaise, Chives, Roast Potatoes, Side Salad. The curry hollandaise was tasty and a nice break from the usual creamy hollandaise sauce. The eggs were done nicely too. Pancakes ($14) - Three Stack Pancakes, Fresh Berries, Maple Syrup, Vanilla Cream. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, everything just tasted so good when put together. Scrambled Eggs ($4) - The eggs were cooked perfectly. Creamy with the right texture.
Honey sponge cake, topped with a layer of caramelized cheese. This Crater Cheese Honey Cake was so soft and fluffy. The caramelized cheese was so addictive and I just could not stop eating. I found this even better than Ah Mah Homemade Cake. :x
Green Curry Seafood Pasta ($13.80) - This was made up of linguine, mussels, small prawns, clams and squid. It was a spicy pasta dish, and the green curry was creamy and fragrant. This was my favorite dish here.
Lion Prawn Mala Mee Kia ($13.80) - This was made up of capellini and tiger prawns sauteed with garlic, chilli padi, Sichuan pepper and prawn roe. It was a spicy pasta dish as well, the prawn flavors were very distinct. Wolfberry & Osmanthus cheesecake ($4.80) - The top layer of wolfberry & osmanthus had a tinge of bitterness which brought a refreshing taste to the cheesecake. Felt that this was a very clever combination. When you order the pasta, just top up $4 for a drink and cake/tart, which I find is more worth it. Definitely an affordable cafe with tasty food items!
Beef Kway Teow, Hotplate Tofu and Salted Egg Pork Ribs. The Beef Kway Teow was good and had the wok hei flavor. The beef slices were tender too.
Seafood Buffet every sat @ $88++ per person. A very family friendly restaurant. There was a live band and kids and baby corner specially catered for children.
Breakfast buffet at $33 nett per person. Loved the ambience and variety of breakfast here. The scrambled eggs were my favorite!
