This dish is called "not fried rice" because it's made up of bean sprouts instead of rice!
Tried this for the first time upon recommendation by the young lady who helps to run the place. The sauce was a tad salty for me but overall, I liked it. They use the thigh meat of the chicken so it's really tender and juicy, and the grilling is evenly done. The accompanying skinny French beans, baby tomatoes, grilled mushrooms and mashed potato were also good.
New item on the menu. Just $5.90 for this :)
Alvin grew up eating this with his Dad. They have good taste; this laksa isn't too strong on the coconut milk, keeping it delightful.
Working out of this simple cafe. The Lavender Latte came highly recommended.
Eggs Benedict on Waffles. Breakfast for Dinner.
Fried eggs, bacon and tomatoes cooked in a cast iron skillet with black truffle.
8 prawns in it!!! Not bad but the pasta itself seemed a tad overcooked to me
Back at Waffles Slayer to try one out of the two Savory waffles, featured in this picture; the Squid Ink waffles with candied bacon, topped with a scoop of icy cool vanilla gelato and finally garnished with thin, crispy pistachio tuiles.
This inviting savory waffle is more than meets the eye. Both sweet and savory are here. I would say yum to savory, but some others may said yuck, because they like them sweet of course. I'd go back right again if I could, but I should have some self discipline though. Enough of waffling for the time being.
The wife likes squid ink pasta. This is Black Squid Ink Tonnarelli with Mangalica Sausages and White Prawns. The wait staff also said he himself has book a dinner here with his gf coz his gf is a fan of squid ink pasta.
