Ordered USDA Beef/ Pork Set which includes marinated pork collar, pork belly, beef brisket & short rib bone, steam egg and choice of a soup. Nothing to shout about the meat. We spotted the wrong set served and informed them to change. First time eating the marinated crab, I actually quite like the jelly texture of the crab meat but the rest doesn't fancy it. The rest of the dishes were mediocre. We end up ordering honeycomb makgeolli to stetch the value of the vocucher.

4⭐ Back at our favourite Tonkatsu to utilise the 20% discount during birthday month. I opt for the award winning pork from Miyazaki while WB prefer the combination of ebi and pork. The Miyazaki pork is so tender and melted in my mouth. WB's tonkatsu is a miss as the batter drop off from the meat but the ebi is executed well.

Ordered the platter which comprise of the Schweinshaxe, Sausages, Schnitzel, Roasted chicken, Sauerkraut & Mashed Potato. Also ordered a salad and french fries as one of them is a vegetarian for the day. The platter is more than sufficient for 3 ladies.

We ordered 2 mains to be eligible for Amex Love Dining Discount. I always have a soft spot for ravioli but WB is not a fan as it's just dumpling to him. The ravioli is filled with prawn paste and complement with scallops. Frankly speaking, it's so filling just eating ravioli as a dish. Chose a non carb for the next dish so we had grilled sea bass. The fish is light and goes well with the crunchy bread crumb and pistachio.

3.75⭐ Purchase 1 for 1 Large size Una Una Unagi Hitsunabushi voucher during Chope Food Festival at $30 which is a steal. Ate once at Una Una 4 years back but I always preferred Man Man although it's pricier.
At first, I presume that the large size is meant for 2 pax but end up I finished it on my own with rice leftover.

4.5⭐ Impromptu visit after we walked from home to Chestnut Nature Park & Diary Farm then to HillV2. My colleague recommended this Italian restaurant. We didn't make a reservation, it was a full house and we were lucky to get a kitchen table immediately. It's an experience sitting at the kitchen table as we could watch the chefs in action.
We starts with the Schiacciata which tasted like Focaccia, my favourite bread. This is a must order dish, the bread is crisp and filled with mushroom and cheese. We ordered a pasta and a main dish for sharing. The lasagna is one of the best I ate and the sauce is not so thick and cheesy to the extent which makes us cloy. The pork chop is grilled to perfection, it would be better if it's not so thick. We ended the meal with the pistachio tiramisu, there's a layer of pistachio paste which makes the tiramisu very unique.
