Fancy conveyor belt sushi for some time. A great opportunity to keep up with our favourite place "Sushiro". Their latest monthly promo item are "Waves of Maguro and uni".🌊 I am slightly picky when it comes to uni and kani miso (long story short want to eat only fresh ones) and this trio doesn't disappoint at all. πŸ‘πŸ’―

Always retreat back to classic when the adventure fails you.🀠 This dish is always comforting. Life is good when you can munch on the balls with ample sauce. Their usual price is $14.90 but going for $12.50 during the IKEA sales season(22 June-2 July) πŸ€‘

Being a flexitarian, vegetarian menu always looks attractive to me. This menu is almost like a secret menu as it's not displayed on board but can be asked at the counter. πŸ€”
The guy said his colleague can do this dish and it will take 2 mins. When the order arrived, the patties are cold and the quinoa is clumpy partially. The salad has many veggie types but they can't fix this dish. Skip this meatless dish and go for other dishes in the plant-based menu instead.πŸ€“

Is this the cheapest bee hoon soto in SG? We think so! We went to IKEA on Monday and this dish is one of the breakfast options there. We heard that the portion is not big but we think the ingredients are more than enough. Shredded chicken, chilli, fried galic, bean sprout, bee hoon. Suggest to mix chilli with noodle early on as they are very generous with chilli. 🌢🀀

Our kind of pain "Pain de Lodeve" ☺️ (A rye bread with walnuts and raisins). We would have thought rye bread would look browner. Higher fibre than white bread, this is a great option for healthy foodie.πŸ‘Œ

Wrapping up our joyful adventure with this snow crab bao dish, our whole perception about Japanese fusion food has been transformed. The highlight is a lightly crispy well cooked Bao. It is a texture play when combining with softy snow crab. Before you realize you eat so much greens, the whole bao is gone! πŸ˜† We know that we would definitely come back for some more...πŸ˜šπŸ€

Perfect for 2 sharing persons, this Futo sushi (futomaki) type doesn't dissappoint us. Just one pop gives us a mouthful of creamy cubed salmon sashimi tossed in mentaiko. The crispy sesame & shiro negi (Japanese long green onion) are hard to miss as they pile on top of these 2 twinnies portrudingly.🀩

How could we miss their signature. We are quite curious when looking at the name alone. After trying these few makis, then we know that this dish is a must order and our most favourite after trying all the dishes. The toppimgs (from bottom to top) πŸ‘‰ unagi, scallop, salmon, snowcrab which go so well with cucumber & avocado. If you don't mind torched food, this is the one to go for.

As luck would have it, we manage to get the seats at peak hour (lunch time) without reservation in this wishlist eatery. Daytime this place is popular with office workers in CBD. Then comes the evening, 'Taniki Raw' morphes into a cocktail bar.🍹You know we always have a penchant for a playful place. πŸ˜‰
Tuna Sashimi is perhaps the most straight laced Japanese dish that showcases how fresh the ingredients are served here (we would say this is simply gorgeous πŸ‘Œ)

Wish we could have freshly made Dango (Japanese dumpling street snack) but hey, at least we've got 4 choices of Dango in SG! 😚 "Kushi Dango" (skewered mochi in sweet soy glaze) is our most favourite Dango type as we love its unique taste from sweet soy glaze. This fun snack is best paired with roasted barley tea. πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜‡

πŸ₯³ This special edition of sushi "Celebrate 30 years of Nakajima Suisan in Singapore". We can't help but love the spicy sambal belachan on top of torched salmon 🍣. We normally try to avoid torched food but give it a go for this one. There is another version of sushi for this occasion & we might share it until this runs out. πŸ˜‰

A classic drink to kick off the week yet it's nothing special compared to mocha. The new half cubicle seatings at this outlet are so inviting that most usually prefer this seating instead of window seat. It's really a great cafe to catch up with friends. We think this outlet is the newest one from TBB and they organize their space quite well. The staffs are also very friendly and accommodating. Check their outlet out, order croissant but skip long black! πŸ€ͺ
