Absolutely the best available in SIN. The right amount of fresh coconut milk, plus the fragrant Gula Melaka syrup. This is the original version with just the green rice flour jelly, at $2.00. It’s yummy.
This is heavenly! The egg soufflé pancake is made perfect. Light, fluffy and yet moist. You don’t even need the syrup. But of course, with the ice cream, it was a lethal combination.
A vegan option, the patty is made of mushrooms. Deck with loads of vegetables and mushroom sauce. Love it!
As beautiful as it tastes. This vegan burger is decked with vegetarian calamari, button mushroom, load of vegetables and a patty made from mushrooms.
A great Vegetarian option!
A unique spicy hot pot of homemade concoct. A ready pot comes with a generous portion of chicken pieces, herbs, spring onions, kilos of garlic (kid you not!) and ginger pieces. For extras, you could choose any of the side dishes of noodles, bean curd, meat, and vegetables to add to your hot pot.
Was recommended bean curd sticks, which we conclude, don’t bother unless you plan to sit for hours. It didn’t soften after a long time.
This is part of the buffet. A tasty dish! You keep wanting more.
A simple dish, yet here the sweet potatoes are crisp with the homemade spicy mayo, it was a perfect appetizer for sharing.
An extremely generous serving of crabmeat with every plate of this pasta. The spiciness level is not too wild and with the tomato sauciness, the pasta is well mixed and flavourful. The bits of surprise with each mouthful is the freshly roasted pine-nuts.
Went back for more! For $26++ a plate, the service and ambience, it’s well worth it.
Surprisingly tasty! Every strand of the pasta is well coated with the light sauce. Lobster and prawns were of generous serving. Well worth the $29 for this main. Note that the beverages here is on the high side.
This Peranakan dish hit the mark. The pork was tender, the mushroom and bamboo shoots were soaked with the sauce, it’s delicious!
This is chicken on skewers, grilled to perfection. It was well marinated, tender and you could eat without other sauce, though yoghurt was provided. Served with tomato and onion slices with two pieces of pita bread and fries. S$23.90.
The daily soup is flavourful. Filled with herbs and meat. Each pot is $12.80 and serves 2.
