Unusually quiet at Ghim Moh market today and I later realised why -🤣
Always a long queue at this stall .
I would rate it average - the texture of the Cheong fun was not as Q and smooth as I like it to be .
3 dollars for this 🙃 - wouldn’t say it’s value for money as opposed to paying 3.50 for a full deal of say wanton mee or maybe chicken rice .
Haven’t been back to this place ever since the queues got so mad .
It used to be really quite nice and quiet 🤫 with manageable queues.
Like their white bee Hoon which is tasty and not greasy and you get to choose the type of egg that you like ( whether more cooked or more runny ) and the auntie at the service counter is always very accommodating.
The fluffy buns with kaya are faultless and needless to comment more .
What I found intriguing was the queue system .
After queuing for your bread and coffee - then you gotta queue at the bee Hoon / noodles counter for Your bee Hoon .
Isn’t that double queuing ? 🤣 not so time effective for a solo diner like me - no one to spilt the “ queuing work “ with .
My all time favourite peanut pancake :)
Fluffy , chewy , crisp at the sides and filled generously with molten peanut jam.
Ask for your pancake to be warmed up and you will see It literally thrown into the microwave 🤣.
1.80 is not the cheapest but portions are good.
Rotating daily lunch set at marche.
Half a roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and a side chickpea salad and a home made drink .
Amazing value at 10.90 plus.
Homely atmosphere to dine in :) I like !

One of the more popular stalls at Taman Jurong for BBQ stingray .
Fresh fish , fast service and pretty good sambal ( can be a little less sweet ) 😆
Hidden in a coffee shop at Blk 19 toh Yi drive ( and next to a chicken rice stall ) lies this snack shop manned by a petite chef 👩🍳.
She makes her own yam cake and ikan billis chilli as well as old style char siew and turnip rice rolls.
The yam cake is a star - made with lots and lots of yam with a snotty
Her rice dumplings are also lovely🍒
In a hidden coffeeshop along toh tuck road lies this hidden gem.
They sell the best tasting homemade yam cakes that is so chock full of Yam and QQ chee Cheong fun in my opinion.
The ikan billis chilli is homemade and pairs well with the yam cake .
Nice to know that the stall owner takes orders for her yam cakes so there are good for parties and gatherings.
The weather is so unbearable these days -
Some days you just feel like having bread and Kopi - that’s all .
My default place for the best Kopi , homemade kaya and a soft bun . Fast service and don’t need to squeeze with others .
Nice waffles but somehow lacking in the wow factor.
Felt that the waffles were pre made and then just warmed up upon ordering .
Lacked that crispiness and airiness I was looking for .
The vanilla bean ice cream was lovely and not too sweet .
For 12 , this was a little on the expensive side .
One of the best tasting muffins.
I like how the muffin was warmed up to a good crust but still maintaining a soft and tender interior .
Not too sweet and a Available in many varieties.
Coffee was lovely but would have been better if it was priced better or if they had a muffin and coffee set .
Paid 9 plus for my muffin and cappuccino.
Quirky stall name but one of the best sourdoughs ever.
Good texture and flavour , well priced .
One of the best freshly made mashed potatoes -not buttered .
Creamy and clean tasting.
