Ordered the mentai Tori Don, which was a little too oily for our liking. The rest of the sushi was usual, nothing to shout out. However, being tucked at a quiet corner of the end of Yishun Interchange provides a quick respite from the crowd, as there is ample seating in the shop. Also, there is a 20% off Regulars from 2 to 5pm, so its definitely value for money, if you swing by at the right timing.
14 plates of sushi, 2 hot green tea and a tori don at $41.90. ✌

I tried the HDL outlet with my parents and they loved the food here. My dad liked the choices of the soup bases, chicken and tom yum and found the food fresh. My mum so enjoyed her experience too. We had 2 manicure sessions done after, well-served by the manicurists.
Attentive staff!

Each set of yong dau foo set comes with a bowl of springy noodles and minced pork, as well as a bowl of simmering hot soup with yong dau foo ingredients (5 of them). The size of each ingredient is generous and tasty, fishball the usual. Each set is priced at $5.50 and is such a comfort to have in the rainy weather. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Such a fruity, tangy, yet sweet bowl with a great assortment of fruits. My daughter and myself enjoyed the variety of fruits. As my girl doesn't like bananas, the staff was nice to switch out the bananas in place of passionfruit. We had honey topping at no extra charge. 2 bowls at $11.90 with BB redemption. Absolutely delightful.
Take note that this is a takeaway stall.

All three mains we ordered were well-executed and did not compromise on taste. Not only was the deco vintagey cute, we enjoyed our meal as well. 3 Mains with a cup of coffee each set us back by slightly less than $30 per pax. I would say its decently priced. Staff was attentive and obliged to take pictures for us. Will return!

Bought this $3.00 snack for afternoon tea and it was able to fulfil my tummy. Had it consumed straight from the refrigerator. It was great!

I personally feel that Swee Heng's standard has improved over the years. Some months back, my colleague bought a black forest cake which was yummlicious. Just last week, I bought the chocolate almond croissant. Was pleasantly surprised as I didnt remember it to be so crispy as a croissant and it definitely surpassed Four Leaves for this bread.

Will be keeping my eyes peered for more goodies from this bakery.

It has been 20 years since I last visited Han's! We ordered 2 sets of chicken chop and 1 set of fish and chips, all of which come with mushroom soup and a choice of ice lemon tea/ orange juice. One additonal set of chicken mayo sandwich too. These set us back decently at $44.90, all nett prices. Prices are reasonable.

I would say the mushroom soup is good, with plenty chunks of mushroom but the batter of the fish for the fish and chips is too thick for my liking. The chicken chop didn't satisfy my counterparts, unfortunately. They find the chicken comes with a certain smell/ taste. We would consider the sandwich in future though.

5 pieces of warm, piping putu piring for $3. We loved the gula melaka and the grated coconut coating on it, though we wished there could be more of it. It's light and serves as easy snacks for tea time.

Was there on a Sunday morning and loved the relaxed, airy vibes there. Being non- air conditioned, the previous midnight rain must have brought respite to the cafe and it was breezy and cooling. We ordered the breads, topped with half-boiled eggs (not in picture). The matcha mochi red bean bun was good, chewiness in each bite; the rest of the breads were great, especially after heated up.
We ordered more toast after this, to try out, especially since we saw many people eating the avocado toast. The toast was crispy and the avocado was wholesome. I do feel that the taste could have been enhanced with a squeeze of lemon or a dash of pepper. Perhaps minimalistic in food preparation is how they sell this?

Good for a chillax morning.

$5.50 for this big plate of mee goreng, at the zi char stall. It was fulfilling and really good. Had previously seen hubby order this a few times and today, was my turn to try. πŸ‘πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Came for a late night dinner and left satisfied and with full bellies. The chicken soup and the tom yum soup base were excellent choices. All ingredients were so fresh and we enjoyed them throughout. We were also treated to the noodle dance, which elevated the entire dining experience. Once again, HDL never fails.

This really made me happy. The wings are well-coated with so much flavour, though I feel that the wings are quite small. The drumlets don't appear that peckish, fortunately. ✌✌ The set contains a choice of fries, which I picked the seaweed flavour. That was pretty good too. Overall, I was pleased with this takeaway, which I had for late lunch. My first try at Jinjia Chicken, but definitely not the last.
