Finally #breadtalk is the last on the #everythingalsosaltedegg wagon with their pocket-friendly $1 bite-size croissants. Unfortunately one croissant 'burst' in the plastic bag and I found myself licking the "golden lava" in the bag :p Next I'm waiting for #dintaifung to come up with 流沙•小笼包 (salted egg xiaolongbao)

Everything done in a rice cooker! Prawns and button mushroom Garnish with spring onions

I personally like the Chinese Pizza. It's full of my favourite chives but it's a tad too oily. Looks very pretty with curry puff ridges. Red bean pancake is a sinful dessert. #XLB wise, I shall stick to #dintaifung. We wanted to order the fried 锅贴 but pick the boiled ones by mistake. Perhaps the service staff could have verified our order first. Next time then. #xiaolongbao #chinese #burpple #dumpling #dinner #overload

Don't find the prices justifiable considering how £ slides lately. But they are really brave to open right beside Ding Tai Fung, considering how similar their menu is - noodles, tim sum- with the exception of duck of course. Honestly I don't find their speciality roasted duck any exceptional. Maybe these birds really do hail from London, they are very very fat. Grease under the skin is half an inch thick. It's a pity the roasted skin ain't crispy despite the nice colour and I found duck hair - more meticulous plucking needed. Damages -$50 and 50% full

I remembered having a much better sandwich when it was still on level 2 of Millenia Walk before they moved down to ground floor. Prices were jerked up but standards dropped. My mushroom and bacon melt plaited sweet bread is just too dry. Mushrooms aren't juicy and it's in need of a sauce, any sauce! I think they are punishing me for not ordering a latte. Too bad I'm not a caffeine person. Next time I'd go back to to try their limited quantity 流沙black cross bun. Saw 2 unknown food bloggers who only ordered 1 bun. They took out 2 DSLR cameras to shoot and dissect that one bun. Kinda hilarious, and they didn't finish it. #saltedegghype But this is still my favourite chillax cafe with WiFi and wall plugs!

My tourist Friend insisted on this place as he saw a gorgeous Korean girl parked at the entrance the day before. However when we arrived, it was a Filo in a hanbuk this time round He had the Beef Bulgogi which comes with flat broad glass noodles , rice and MSG? cabbage soup Maybe it's the sauce that doesn't go well with the glass noodles, he can't finish it. Maybe I should let him order his first choice - Kimchi ramen. Oops

Near the back of the restaurant, you can find free flow of kimchi, marinated bean sprout, pickles and salad bar; plus an assortment of condiments like green, red chilies , spring onions, salt pepper and different sauces for bibimbap, pancake and BBQ meat. However the saucers provided are too tiny and they forbid you to use the clean soup bowls found near the open kitchen. There weren't trays provided so you have to make more trips. Very smart move! So ask for the table closer to the back unless you need some appetising exercise. I saw people helping themselves to free flow barley tea at the drinks counter. The waiter didn't inform us Think u have to pay $3 for a glass (Subway concept) They also sell army stew with kimchi soup, cheese fondue that can feed 2-4pax. Ambience could be a little more Korean, with posters, pop music and Korean wait staff. #koreanfood

Initially I wanted to try the cheese army stew pot, but on seeing this piping bowl of soup served to the Korean family on the adjacent table, I changed my mind. I ordered the typical Korean 1-year ginseng soup with pork ribs. The menu had the Ox stew which was my first choice but it wasn't available. The portion was really generous for $17.90++, I had to takeaway half of it. #2mealsforthepriceof1

If the £ drop more, this can actually be a reality. I can't imagine this eccentric mix of flavours on a quarter waffle! Why duck? For now I will emulate with fried chicken (or steak?) on full waffles and poached eggs instead.
