😫 After my cousin @mrs_rhino18 treated me to lunch at De Poco Poco Bake Shoppe, we went to check out their yummy looking bakes 🍞. My cousin made her selection really quickly so she reached the counter just before me.
She insisted on paying for me and I declined. Then the staff told her there was a Buy 3️⃣ Get 1️⃣ Free promotion and she was short of a bread. As she left the counter for her bread, I told the guy to total up mine and hers 💰 so I could pay for her share too.
The staff did as I asked and packed everything, waiting for her to come back. Little did I know, he was such a brilliant actor! 🎭 He had already accepted my cousin's money without my knowledge and was in on the prank!
Job well done I must say! 👍🏼

This Carrot Cake ($7.50) is really pretty, with lots of icing and walnuts but rather acidic. Great company 😊😊
Had difficulty choosing because the brownie, blondie and carrot cake looked yummy too. I guess basing it on how good this is, I need to make another trip to try the rest!
Sis ordered the Nicoise Salad ($15) which came with a generous amount of salmon instead of tuna. I had the Prawn Aglio Olio ($20) which is available only during weekends. Taxes are already included in the price! 👍🏼
Poor thing got a slip disc from jumping off the table. I ordered the beef meatballs with rice and tomato sauce ($11) and it was pretty good. The wait was a bit too long today though.
