Our first stop in Taipei is Feng Xia Night Market. Rather small and cramped. It was quite difficult to find a stall to eat at because every stall was equally crowded. This bowl of delicious porridge costs about SGD$3.
Today we are leaving beautiful Japan and heading to fun Taiwan! I've also finally managed to make some space in my tummy for the fruit 🍒🍇🍓 sandwich from Blossom & Bouquet. Overall, I really like their sandwiches but would recommend that you go for the savoury ones.
We had dinner at a ninja restaurant and were served by ninjas! Fortunately iPhone works wonders under low light and I managed to capture pictures of the eight courses. It was more entertaining than delicious. We were led through cramped doorways and even a trapdoor! Also, a master ninja performed magic tricks for us 👍🏼.
The one on the left is so furry like a soft toy! It's only a baby but it goes on eating frenzy. The brown one on the right is Toro and it couldn't believe that the food bowl was empty! You will simply fall in love with the rabbits at this cafe! The staff is also very professional.
For 1,200Yen, you get to spend an hour with the rabbits and a drink of choice. They were easily 30 rabbits there! We had lots of fun!
Components are basically the same. There's egg, sausage, muffin and hash browns. Other than the muffin, there's a slight variation in taste for the rest. The eggs 🍳 in Singapore are fluffier but the sausage here is juicier. The hash browns here are also not as crispy. Overall verdict: I prefer Singapore's. Also, the seats are really tiny.
This is good quality beef with even better service! It was an enjoyable meal as the service staff dressed in kimono cooked our beef for us. I tagged the restaurant in Japanese this time around.
This place took a long time for us to make reservations because almost every day that we are in Tokyo, it is full. This restaurant was established in 1895 and is famous for their beef.
I got this Yuzu ice cream for 300Yen from a shop selling at least 20 other ice cream flavours! I like that it's refreshing like a sorbet, instead of milky.
This is available only if you dine in the cafe. The set features a few of their signature items: Marron Fruits Rouges (10th anniversary special), Saya 🍓, Chocolate Pralin 🍫, Cheese Cake Citronne 🍊, Valencia and Bamboo 🎋. Our Favourite is the Valencia. By the way, to dine in the cafe, you need to order a drink each. We had two pots of tea (840Yen/pot): The Pomme Caramel 🍎 and The Douce France.
A generous amount of beef and udon. The bowl is as wide as our arms and body. No wonder this restaurant is filled with men! By the way, I'm not really liking how smoking is allowed here.
It's good for two! The huge ass spoon makes it really fun (and tiring) to eat.
This bowl of noodles comes with pork and a healthy amount of spring onions, making it very flavourful. The only down side is that the udon itself is nothing to rave about.
