Dry curly ramen noodles with flavoured oil and tare, topped with poached egg, bamboo shoots, yakibuta and vegetables. Tasted a little spicy to me, and a tad salty, but still something i would choose. Shopping around in town and don't know what to eat? This might be it! 🍜

Breakfast was an overkill for 2 with @grace. Very old school Kaya and butter toast, was different from the usual. Soft with a sinful slab of butter hehe. Was hoping it'd be crispy on the sides. (Also, we were like IS THIS BURGER BUNS?!) Egg tart was yummy with fragrant crust but a little too sweet. We weren't a fan of the custard puff. Glad we didn't have to wait for seats! Also, the auntie told us not to take photos and put online cos they're busy as it is. (Sorry). Heard it's usually really crowded so go only if you don't mind the wait.

This angelic-looking creation is inspired by Montmarte in Paris, and I can totally see why – both exude a sense of romance and old-world charm that is extremely alluring.

I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but this completely won me over. Set in a coconut sable tart, the tangy lemon curd, not too sharp and not too sweet, hits the tastebuds first before the subtle sweetness of the light, fluffy coconut cream takes over – it's a seamless transition that makes me raise my eyebrows in pleasant surprise. I also like the slightly singed crystals of sugar gleaming softly atop the coconut, which taste very much like ding ding candy.

For the first time ever, I did not have the BBQ beef set at this restaurant. Instead, I opted for the grilled eel set. Shocking, I know 😝
I was so glad I explored beyond my usual though. The cottony-soft unagi was really fragrant from the sweet teriyaki sauce and boasted a slight smokiness from the open fire grilling by the Japanese chef. The sashimi was no slouch either.

Healthier option for fries as sides to go along with their big and juicy sinful burgers which went super well!

Fluffy brioche coated and fried in egg, topped with vanilla ice cream, berry compote, and maple syrup. The toast was done well, but the compote was far too sweet; I'd have preferred it more tart!
