BBQ and Lemon Lime Chicken. Think this is the most valuable protein rich food you can find, my go to whenever I dine at astons.
Both chicken were tender with the right amount of tanginess.
Flamed seared mentaiko cheese over 9 kinds of sashimi on sushi rice. There's foie gras, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, sea eel, aka ebi, Japanese rolled omelette, ikura and minced fatty tuna. Sashimi was fresh dn their sushi rice is really soft and fluffy. It balances out the mentaiko which was savoury. I do think it's worth $35 but might be pricey for a weekly meal.
Crispy boneless fried chicken chunks, potato wedges and rice cakes tossed with honey butter sauce and seasoning.
Would love for it to have more seasoning to coat the chicken chunks which is what causes it to be nice and addictive. The chicken chunks weren't nicely coated and most of the time was just eating plain fried chicken.
Thick, creamy and rich cheese drenched onto soft and chewy topokki topped with ham, best combination. Must try though it's slightly on pricier side given its portion.
Juicy fried chicken tenders marinated with Chir Chir's secret seasoning, topped with sweet silvers of onion, chopped parsley and served with creamy onion dipping sauce.
Nicely grilled and slightly charred on both sides of the fish which gave it a nice crisp texture. Fish was fresh and Hollandaise Sauce was good. Enjoyed this very much.
The rich miso broth was savoury and made the meal really hearty. Salmon chunks were lightly breaded and fried hence it retained its shaped. There were mushrooms, glass noodle, tofu, and egg. Overall, tasty and savoury.
Fresh squid stir-fried with garlic, sliced onion, brown shimeiji mushroom, sliced zucchini, cherry tomato and tteokbokki in champong-kalbi sauce.
An impressive medley brimming with plump fish fillets, blue mussels and shrimps baked with lemongrass infused wild rice, spicy tomato sauce and gooey melted cheese.
Super tender juicy quarter chicken elegantly seasoned with a heavenly blend of spices, roasted to perfection and served with rich savory herb gravy.
Gravy was on the saltier side however the chicken was really done to perfection.
Espresso, chocolate, milk, honey. The chocolate was rich, together with the espresso it was just right. One of the better mocha.
Espresso, wildflower honey, oatmilk. Was very surprised at how this tasted. Honey was sweet and the oatmilk was definitely a plus point. Could not really taste the wildflower but overall a refreshing twist to usual cafe latte.
