Set comes with fish, soup & rice

Hanjiang Seafood Square gets very crowded and the waiting time is fairly long, I waited nearly 45 minutes after ordering.

They have a few fresh seafood dishes on their menu, from seabass to prawns to pomfret to groupers.

All seafood we had were very fresh and the food was very affordable. Just look at the prices. Cheap and good.

Prawns were fresh and bouncy, and doused with fragrant and spicy gravy.and served with overload of tang hoon.

The Seabass was also fresh, meat was silky smooth. And so affordable as well

The Chendol was Good. Can really fight for the throne of chendol King with nonya chendol.

It was milky and sweet. Chendol "strings" tasted so coconutty. Red bean servings were generous, and so was the milk that was doused over the dessert.

Botak Jones will always be 1 of my favourite western food stall.

And the 1 dish that I will always get is the Cajun Chicken.

With 2 slices of tender juicy breast meats, Topped with cheese and cajun sauce. This is just the complete combination for the chicken breasts.

And their spicy fries also damn shiok, so crunchy, like eating potato chips.

This old school bakery has been around since the 1960s.

Some of their popular Confectionery are their coconut tarts and their colorful cakes.

This time around, decided to try their other Confectionery items

1) Egg Tarts
- not bad, egg pudding was sweet and jellyicious, crust was crunchy. Overall not bad.

2) Custard Puffs
- the custard is the old school style, thick and sweet. Rather easy to get addicted to this

3) Banana Cake
- moist and soft. The banana cake was rather fragrant as well. Can try.

I am a sucker for black glutinous rice dessert.

This was served warm and with a scoop of Vanilla ice Cream topped up on top, to give this dessert an excessive milky taste that pairs perfectly with the Black Glutinous Rice.

Shiok!

Flavourful broth, very gingerly.

Fish were fresh, a mixture of sliced fish and fried fish.

The chilli was shiok as well.

Only avaliable in $6 Portion.

Although on paper, opening hours is 11.30am to 2pm. But by 12.40pm on a weekday, sold out liao. And about over 5 person had to be turned away.

How Yu Restaurant is a Zhi Char store located at Teban Gardens, very old school feel and they serve up some excellent Zhi Char.

This location is rather ulu as its not near any MRT station.

The ingredients here are fresh, fish slices were tender and fresh. Soup was flavourful and adding the red chilli padi just gave it an extra punch.

The San Lou Hor Fun was excellent as well, got wok hei, damn delicious.

The chilli lala was tasty and the LaLa was fresh as well. The chilli is like the chilli crab style, damn shiok.
