What is it?
Basically Salmon and Beef jerky on toast

Portion size: Tiny and I mean it. If you intend to take this for lunch/dinner, skip this

Cost: RM20

FYI this cafe is halal and set on the almost last stretch of jalan tan hiok nee where traffic flow is lowest as well.

Taste: Average 5/10
Such tiny portion which I actually think its not worth the price

*Unable to find location so stay put as title first. Went on 11th April 2019 during the Changi Jewel preview

The meat platter 3-4pax
Cost: Unsure but $60ish++ (Boss pay :))

2 hungry men definitely can finish this

Sausage: was good, pair with the gravy and its delightful.
Lamb: char end but turns out the worst part as every mouthful is salty.
Half Chicken: good, but not exactly moist for the breast part which I had and would have like. If skins could get crispier would be an added bonus.
Tenderloin: Normal.

4 cups which I think is the followings:
Coleslaw, mash potatoes, mushroom sauce and black pepper sauce. First 3 are desire except the black pepper sauce which feels a bit lacklustre in flavour.

Overall good experience, worth going back but I'd recommend to get personal mains portion rather than sharing platter which looks much more worthy.

Hidden within a Chinese fruit juice shop, lies a halal food stall for the hungry goers at an affordable rate.

Picture shown above consist of Drumstick(quite a big piece), egg, potato, and peanuts. All costing only $5.40

For the super saver, opt for just rice and the huge drumstick and it will only set you back at $3

Main Star: Fried Drumstick - Huge piece, not overly fried with the batter, moist interior meat, awesome!
There are also cutlets (colleague like for the simpler consumption while I find it slightly sweet to my tastebud), wings etc

For a nasi padang meal with 3-4 ingredients that doesn't break the bank, should go for this.

Went on: 5th Apr 2019, 7.30pm
Price per pax: $82, via chope 1-1 voucher. Would have used burpple voucher should I know I won't be going back after going through this...

So this place has raving reviews on tripadvisor and partner wants to go. It's a Friday nightand I thought its the beginning of a great weekend but all comes to an end when we were told after seated that fresh oyster isn't available! So different to the unlimited free servings of freshly shucked oysters mentioned online!

To the next course then, I'm here for seafood anyway. Head to it and only found mussels, clams and cooked yabbies(miniature lobsters family usually farmed in Australia) served cold. Taste normal, nothing much to shout about. Onwards to cook seafood and we only have cereal crabs, not much pieces with meat left. It took almost an hour for them to dish out 2 cereal crabs and its gone within seconds.. I could barely reach for it and its gone to other foodie..

Sashimi slice to order but presentation were....ate penang laksa to keep me full and fuming towards the end.

Only redemption, the picture of prawns in herbal soup still provides a nice sweet texture. But hey, they show prawns swimming in tank but they scoop the prawns from a bed of ice tray hiding behind the tank which I saw by accident/chance?

The servers are always there so readily to collect utensils. But the food are a dismay. At $82/pax with what I experience, I'd probably never recommend to anyone

Yes nuts! Good and smooth consistency, delicate and light, kind of refreshing but lacks the nutty bites! Came huge and promising but disappointingly at the end when we saw the bottom stock up with cereals πŸ˜‚
Still a worthy mention 4/5

Also had the sea salt version via burpple 1-1. Couldn't find the photo though πŸ˜‚ Didn't had a lot of sea salt ice cream but this version is good nonetheless. 4/5

Out of my continuous gourmet on Sunday Folks. Tested out the 4 flavours of Chocolate, Pistachio, Sea Salt and Earl Grey Lavender.

I would say Earl Grey Lavender would keep me coming back for more whereas Chocolate needs much more improvement if I were to come back for it.

An unique experience of waffles ice cream.

Chocolate Ferrero w/ burnt Marshmallow:
3/5 - Prefer thicker with more chocolatey flavour to tickle my tongue.

Earl Grey Lavender w/ strawberries:
4.5/5 - This is a marvellous rendition of the earl grey and lavender mixture. Both flavour is pronounce yet doesn't override the other. You don't feel jelak eating it. Sweet almond thins alongside adds another dimension overall

As per part 1, this is a better lot in their dutch chocolate & orange + coffee with maple sauce. Waffle is as describe in previous post.

Dutch chocolate: 2/3 (On darker tone, it surprisingly taste much better than the other 3 I had)
Coffee: 1/3
Maple: Taste like the one used in McDonald's
Waffles: 3/3

*Most patron there were having steaks instead, I guess my belly will be back for the steak instead (of the part-movie-ice-cream) as a patron at the outdoor patio complimenting the steak*

Looks good, taste mediocre. Like title to depict the story, it melts but at a speedier rate. Pistachio + Hokkaido combo with choc sauce, none tasted good, I had better elsewhere. Waffles stand out much more than the lead but its the star that matters and its definitely not worth the experience even with 1-1

This combo: 3/10 (All 3 goes to waffles)

Normal taste, nothing special. For the price, I would rather go for more ice cream πŸ˜‹

With charcoal waffle base.
Very peanut-y texture (reminded me of charlie brown & snoopy), smooth and intriguing with each bite. Pistachio slightly mild but still goes well with the charcoal waffle base.
Charcoal waffle was crispy, recommended

Make possible with #burpplebeyond 1-1
