A grapefruit based cocktail w a hint of rosemary. A pretty & like the owner said "highly instagrammable drink". Flavors are abit more on the lighter side & could definitely be heavier on the alcohol. If you're looking for a starter drink & something refreshing, this would make a great choice! 🌿🍹

Plump, fresh & crunchy shrimps swimming in a pool of herby, peppery & absolutely savory garlic-ky sauce! 😍❤️ I love how these shrimps are served w a side of their home-baked bread (which was so yummeh it was tdf) as the owners knew exactly that the bread would be perfect to soak up all that garlic sauce goodness! It'll be sucha a crime to see it go to waste! A great appetizer to share before your meal! 🍤✨✨

Their usual lava Set is $8.50 but you got to top up ($0.50-$1) for selected premium flavors, which I'd gladly pay for! This coffee ice cream hit all the right spots. Strong roasty coffee flavours without being too sweet. Goes really well w their chocolate lava soft cookie! The sprinkled cornflakes adds a nice crunch but I'm okay without it. The main star is the lava cookie & ice cream 😋 I used my #BurppleBeyond All Day membership to redeem 1-for-1 Lava Set + Drink so technically, this cookie set costed me $0! 🎉🎉 #valueformoney

My first time trying Kooks Creamery thanks for #BurppleBeyond! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Heard a lot of good things about kooks & they definitely did not disappoint. Cookie is crumbly, chocolate lava is warm & not too sweet (YAS!) & paired w a cold refreshing scoop of ice cream! What a perfect combination! 🍦A great after dinner dessert that's fit for the whole family to enjoy. Can't wait to try the other many flavors of ice cream. Will definitely find myself coming back for more ❤️

Beef tartare w capers & a cured egg... 😟 First things first, the cured egg was rock hard like a firm jelly with too much gelatin. It did not ooze & there was no way to mix it in w the beef tartare. And it was too sticky it got stuck in between the teeth. Absolutely disappointing! Beef tho, was tender but not very flavorful. To charge $17 for a dish like that is definitely not acceptable. Better luck next time 😕

Double shots 5oz White ($6) & 7oz White ($6.50). Coffee is roasted by Five Oars Coffee Roasters & come as a single shot by default. Top up an additional $1 to make it a double shot. Had both the single origin & house blend here which was nice & balanced but I'm not a fan of having to top up extra $ to get my full kick joe.

Squid ink pasta w Prawns. A disappointing dish that was served lukewarm. The dish was lacking the great aromatic flavors of garlic but packed a good heat from the red chilis. Prawn were deshelled & seemingly poached separately & did not pack the same flavors of the pasta. Prawn flesh was plump but borderline mushy. Café space is pretty & spacious w good seating. Definitely a good spot to catch up w friends over a cup of coffee.

Stewed beef so tender, it almost melts in your mouth 😍❤️ This is definitely a must-order on their menu. Very flavorful & umami. Would recommend ordering a bowl of rice to go w it & soak up all that amazing sauce. Yummeh!

A really generous serving of tako! 🐙🐙 Has a good kick of wasabi w crunchy, fresh tako. The mixture is abit on the watery side but doesn't affect flavor at all. Makes a great appetizer before your meal.

A refreshing & super flavorful don. The salmon & scallop cubes are fresh but sliced a lil' on the slimmer side. This bowl seems to be a tad sweet due to the sauce that they use but isn't too overpowering. The fresh seafood, tamago, nori & fish roe paired w the rice makes a great lunch option. It isn't too heavy & you'd be safe from a food coma after. 🍣⭐️

A spacious neighborhood ice cream place in the west! The mini Belgium waffles are only $1.80! Top it w a scoop of their yummy ice cream $4.20, single scoop. The waffles are made fresh & goes perfectly w the ice-cream for that hot & cold combo. Love the interior here too. That looks just like a fun circus. Will definitely come back for more sweet treats! 🎪🤹🏻‍♀️🍦
