First, I ordered a double patty and bacon order, then I topped it off myself with a tomatoes, lettuce, onions and pickles. Ultra satisfying with fries and a milkshakeeeeee!!!
This place has by far the most juiciest curry puff ever. The crispy outer layers and the juicy potato, chicken and egg filling really come together and pack a punch with each bite. At $1:70 the curry puff is seriously a very good bite , too bad I couldn’t try their range of curry puffs ( custard, durian, sardine and otah) as I never fail to order the Nasi Lemak $5.
There is something uniquely different but tasty about their Nasi Lemak , the rice is absolutely light, fluffy and yet so full of flavor, that you can just eat it on its own. (I am always tempted to ask for more, let me know if you feel the same too)
As for the couple serving you, one look and you can tell, they are absolutely in love with what they do.
There are tons of drink shops in Northpoint City (bubble teas, fruit teas etc) but I went for Fruiturday as the Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie ($6.90) caught my eye. It has a natural sweetness from the fresh mangoes (I double checked that there was no added sugar) and the interesting part of the drink was the bits of sticky rice!
I later read that this is a chain from Thailand and it just recently opened. A great option if you’re looking for a healthier alternative to bubble teas and other sweet drinks.
Stumbled upon this little jem while out looking for a place for lunch. Although the store is situated in a little store space, it's hard not to miss it because of the long queue of hungry customers.
Ordered a combination of Hainanese pork chop, cabbage, fried egg, fish cake 五香, and of course drizzled with loads of curry sauce.
I was expecting some tender pork chop but instead I was offered some really crispy textured pork chop which gave the whole dish the much needed crunch. The curry sauce was on point, with subtle hints of coconut and a tad of spicyness.
The dry prawn noodles from Noo Cheng Adam Road Big Prawn Mee is worth queuing a bit for! The broth is super solid, and the noodles with their chilli has a great kick. Their prawns were quite fresh, and the pork belly slices had a nice chewy texture. Pretty much always has a long queue during lunch period, although it isn’t as crowded in the evenings!
Love the broth which taste so homely, unlike the bigger chain stalls selling this craft. Fresh ingredients, al dente hand-torn mee hoon kueh, quick service - all adds up to a perfect bowl of handmade mee Hoon kueh. Perfect to end off Monday blues.
Man, how do I start? This plate of megawesome goodness is the only sauce-drenched dish I'd crave -alil too frequently maybe- for, and leaves me wanting more when it's gone too soon..
The Chap Chye is a must, double it up maybe? Had their Ngoh Hiang as well, which was still crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Make sure to say YESSS when they ask you if you'd like all 3 sauces! Missin' the whole point of popping by this place if you don't ;)

This is amazing. Crispy on the outside, juicy fresh avocado in the inside. Plus, the presentation was so nice! Will definitely have this again.

Apt name for this dish that has a GENEROUS portion of mushroom and splash of truffle oil!!! So rich and so indulgent, I am glad for this plate of pasta. One of my favourites!
Happened to pass by tanjong pagar food centre one day and decided to try this stall out. Bought the Teo chew style (original) kway teow and Am pleasantly surprised by the quality. Ingredients used were fresh and it did not feel too greasy. Would definitely recommend if you’re near this area!
Stumbled upon this new bar in Bali Lane, decided to pop in for abit cause hey they’ve got boozy deals throughout the night (2 towers for $66 anyone?) aaaaaand ended up knocked off my socks with their shockingly decent grub. You wouldn’t expect much from a bar’s grub — at least I wouldn’t — but omg their stuff is actually beyond plain edible? Take this burger: suuuper crisp turkey bacon, hash brown, housemade medium-rare beef patty, some melts cheese and fluffy buns. Man honestly that housemade patty would totally just seal the deal for me in a bar. It’s well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and really just plain old tasty. Unpretentious and hearty, more than what I can say for other bar grub out there.
Lunch Sets priced at $9.90! Set includes 1main, 1sides, Miso soup and green tea. For the sides, I could choose 3 pcs Gyoza, 2sticks yakitori, Tempura Ebi or the Tofu. I had the Chirashi set and needed to top up $5, so comes to about $14.90. The sashimi was generous and fresh. Yakitori was grilled upon ordering and very tasty. Overall, very happy with the Chirashi Lunch Set. Will definitely come back again for the $9.90 Ramen Lunch set.
Saw their dinner menu. Prices are very reasonable and extensive variety. Would come back and try their dinner.
