ππLook forward to the endless steamboats or mookata π²/ yusheng lou-ing/ family meals/ angbao collecting/ mahjong sessions/ pineapple tart (and other kueh kuehs) galore π
Side note: the mookata I had was good, it works by ala carte and I believe now they have sets as well! Uncle Alex, the owner, was really funny & friendly! Do support him! π #SupportLocalBusiness
I was just excited to bring my overseas friend who visited Singapore for the first time, to have a taste of the Singapore flavour - that even Gordon Ramsey could not fathom. π
Other than lumpy rice grains that I had, I would think it was a rather good representation of what Singapore has to offer π
Anyway TGIF everyone!!! π
βοΈ Because he was naught-Tea. π
Featuring Moscato Blanc Tea - White tea & Darjeeling [$5]. Hang on guys, weekend in coming πͺπΌ In the meantime, have a tea break once in awhile, you deserve it βΊοΈ
Thanks to dad's recommendation.
My dad's fond memories of serving national service at the nearby camp & settling for a bowl of icy cold Cheng tng that is perfect for hot weather after his duty βοΈ Ever since, he has been bringing the family to Bedok Food centre for Ye Lai Xiang's Cheng tng & Cuttlefish Kang Kong π
I was amazed to see Next Gen Hawkers running the store ππΌ Kway Chap was one of the best I tried so far βΊ Even the prawn noodles beside this Kway Chap stall is also nice (& it's only $2.80 per bowl π±) I don't know if the owners would see this, but just wanna say great job & keep the hawker spirit alive! πͺπΌβΊοΈ
Life will never be better than spending quality time with your loved ones. Happy Sunday!
I didn't really have high expectations for the taste of the food ("nice to see only") so it was just...alright... for me. π Given a chance to go again, I probably won't. Service was average too, since we weren't attended by the staff despite visiting the cafe during off-peak period βΉοΈ haiyoooo
