Been stressed since last week with projects & presentations. 😞 Needed to press on till next week is over. It's times like this when I feel like going to the beach and scream my lungs out & then go for a nice treat of gelato. 🍧

Time to celebrate with a feast!
Featuring the Giant Meat Platter [$100] for 4 persons, which consists of so many components:
You'll have a Ribeye steak, Cajun fried chicken, pan-fried Norwegian salmon, 2 racks of Pork Ribs (which you can 2 glaze of your choice) and free flow of 3 sides (a variety to choose from!) What caught my attention: the ribs definitely. We tried the Chipotle & Journey to the East glaze, & I personally liked the Chipotle one more (Chili-avoiders do avoid!) as the Journey to the East glaze was a tad too sweet for me.
& what I felt was overshadowed: the pan-fried salmon brought a different set of taste profile to the overall dish which I found it to be refreshing!

I would have to say my second visit was more pleasant than the first!
Finally managed to try the chicken wings and it was soooooo good. This time we chose Collagen and Tomato Soup base, and it was heavenly as the collagen can be abit gelak after drinking too much and the tomato refreshes the palette. It's gonna be my default combi!
It was less crowded than the last time I was there, hence the level of customer service given to each customer was higher. The staff were courteous, polite and attentive, great job! 👍🏼

Weather in Singapore is terrible, and stress doesn't make it any better. 💪🏼 Oh well, have to press on & things will get better! (Everyone please take care under the gruelling heat! Drink more fluids 💧)

Projects make me depressed about life sometimes, but food always cheer me up (don't mean to sound like a glutton haha!) What I found deceiving from this stall was the fish & chips as it doesn't look appealing to me at all. I think it is the best one that I have ever tried. The outer layer is thinly coated rather than having the batter being as thick as the fish itself. It is something I would miss eating 😁

There is even a National Spanish Paella Day On 27 March! My favourite part is definitely the scrapping of the pan for those crunchy bits!
Right now, Milagro is having a menu special for 4 pax at $60, comprising of: Paella Valencia, San Jacobos (Breaded Friend ham & cheese) and Patatas Bravas (Fried Potatoes with Aioli) till the end of this month! 💕

The Global Potluck organised by @ComeLetsEat was an eye-opening experience as it allowed me to taste the world (Turkish, Spanish, Filipino, German) in one dinner.
Through this event, it makes me even more appreciative of Singapore's vibrant multi-cultural nature & to never take it for granted. 🌈

My family's Favourite has always been the tamban fish as it is so rare to find in Singapore! To me, Goldleaf is not just a restaurant, but it is also a place where I could enjoy a heartwarming feast with my family, that is enjoyed by both young and old. 💕

Without you, my heart feels like Swiss cheese - full of holes. 🧀💞 HAHAHA

This was at Whampoa drive market and there's another at Golden Shoe hawker centre.
Can't really remember the name of the stall, but I often differentiate it with a blue signboard and they displayed a photo of our late Mr Lee Kuan Yew patronising the stall.
