They have a forever young section in the menu for the classics and this butter chicken is one of the best we've had in Singapore. Paired with methi lachcha prantha it reminded me of Delhi!

This was our safe bet on burrple 1-1 :)

We went for the most unique on the menu and were not disappointed at all. A unique curry with a combination of turnip pieces and shredded soft lamb melts in the mouth. The flavors are very authentic Indian and great alfresco dining which turns into a festival every evening.

Only downside was shredded lamb also meant too few a pieces. The dish was dominated by turnip pieces. Though it was still good value as we used burrple 1-1.

Yummy appetiser with 6 pieces of charred prawns wrapped up in great indian flavors. Served with spiced Indian slaw (shredded radish, beet, onion etc)

Slow cooker mutton in red and yellow lentils. All their dishes are unique including this one. It has the nutrition of mutton and lentils and so yummy!! I had it with their signature magaj naan.

Very authentic and unique preparation of chicken in Lucknow style. Chicken is cooked in a fiery masala gravy including onions, garlic, ginger and chilies. It has nice sweetness to balance the spices.

This is an absolutely rare gem. Speciality Awadhi food with exclusive dishes on the menu. Magaj naan is made of fermented dough with magaj (dried melon seeds sprinkled on it). It's rich and absolutely delicious. Must try this bread of you are in this restaurant.

I relished this dish a lot!
It's an amazing fusion in 5 pieces of classic jalebi with candied green apple slices inside. It's served hot with the cold rabri (which could've been a little sweeter)

Absolutely mind blowing dessert

Vada pao doesn't feature in their regular menu. It's special brunch menu that would take you to down the memory of Mumbai street food. Very legit dish and tasty. The set allows you to choose 2 dishes and free flow pani poori. All in all good food but not at all healthy. Very few non-veg dishes. It was a potato fest!

If you crave for a savory breakfast, there's nothing tastier or healthier than this beast!

Toasted and seasons sausages and potatoes with a runny egg on top makes a great start to your day!

It's great if you are like me and can't choose which indian bread to have! The basket allows you to taste 7 different ones and trust me they are no babies! It's more than enough for 3 people. And, these breads go with any dish on their menu.

Burrple 1-1 makes he affordable. It's a 3 course set and in the picture you have one of the mains options. The place is nice, fine dining, beautiful views but food is nothing great. If you find a deal then surely check it out.
