They cereal crusted the brioche so it was super crunchy on the exterior! It came with blue pea vanilla(?) ice cream - could see the vanilla speckles, fresh cream, granola bits, and fresh froot. The grapes (which were so big), blueberries and raspberries were sweet and fresh. I quite liked dipping the toast into the melted ice cream, it gave it some softness to the toast which wasn't the usual soft nua types, so it could withstand the melted ice cream seeping in, without getting soggy. The maple syrup was served on the side, and we didn’t pour everything. The dish is sweet - it’s a dessert after all, but it wasn’t overly sweet / jelat. We shared this amongst 3!

The soba looked handmade, and was al dente bordering on the hard side, rather than chewy, but I didn’t mind it as it had a nice bite to it. The soup was tasty and clean, and I enjoyed the soft melty pork belly, which had a delicious soy + sweet flavour. A great option for either lunch or dinner!

Bittergourd was bitter, but was surprisingly still rather palatable. I liked the beancurd, was fresh and soft! There’s also quite a bit of lean meat cubes hidden in the eggs. A pretty authentic Okinawan dish, took me back to my holiday in Okinawa!

This was good! Chicken was soft and juicy, and encased in a crunchy coating of batter that locked all the moisture in. I didn’t find it too greasy! Each piece was boneless and pretty large. There’s a tangy dipping sauce at the side, as well as iceberg lettuce. This wasn’t my pick as I don’t have a thing for fried chicken, but I wouldn’t mind reordering!

Creme brûlée was very cardomomy, nicely spiced! Might be a bit much for some tho. Custard was smooth, not too eggy nor sweet. The tart base was nice and crunchy but in a crumbly way. This was on the house, thank u for the kind gesture! :)

This wasn’t as sweet as most KAs I’ve had! It had a delicate exterior crisp, and soft fluffy insides that were beautifully layered. They filled it with coffee cream, which I think would be better cold, and honestly I could do without the filling, the pastry itself was good enough for me.

On the online order system there was an option to choose between 2 types - we opted for “Mr Cuddles”, which was listed to be “Comforting & Bold” with caramel, roasted nuts and milk choc as the tasting notes. I liked the coffee, it had a sufficiently strong coffee taste and was rather aromatic.

Unfortunately the miso soft serve is no longer avail. “Tokyo Banana inspired soft serve” was alright, banana flavour was present and there were fresh bananas too, but it was ruined by the ridiculously un-crunchy popcorn, which was glued together by caramel that stuck to your teeth and made the entire thing too sweet. They should just buy Garrett’s popcorn and put it on, it would have been a much better experience.

Mushroom soup was average, it was chunky with chopped mushrooms, but tasted a bit starchy and lumpy? I know I can’t expect the same standard as what you would find at an Italian/European restaurant, but I was still kinda disappointed. But A+ for it tasting quite healthy and natural. The sandwich was fine, the smoked salmon wasn’t too salty and the roll tasted decent, there were tomato slices and sprouts too.

Shokupan was soft and fluffy, each was toasted on both sides so there was a slight crunch. Cheesy scrambled eggs were light and reasonably fluffy, not too cheesy/sharp; hashbrowns were mainly there for the crunch; the candied bacon wasn’t too fatty and gave a nice meaty + sweet flavour. It felt a bit sloppy and sinful, but we really enjoyed this! Everything came together nicely, and even tho it doesn’t look huge it was pretty filling. Satisfied!

This was good! The sourdough was crunchy tho a little hard around the edges. The middle part was moistened by juices from the mushrooms, but not soggy. Loved the large juicy mushrooms that were earthy and flavourful, yet not too salty. They also sprinkled confit garlic crumbles, and topped the toast with sliced red radish. Lots of rocket leaves dressed with balsamic for additional ~health~. Overall really enjoyed this, flavour profile and textures were good!

I hardly prefer black coffee but this one was really good! It had a distinct fruity flavour, and was smooth and aromatic, went down really easily. Definitely a memorable cup of coffee.

The iced white unfortunately, had too much milk, so it didn’t come across with as strong a coffee taste as I would have liked. It was strong tho, as I felt a kick in my system after. I’ll opt for a smaller, hot cup of white coffee next time! They gave a single big cube of ice in the iced white, which melts less quickly so the coffee doesn’t get diluted as quickly 👍🏼
