Poached Eggs, Bacon, Hollandaise, Parmesan

Eggs were poached well, was runny and hollandaise was tasty. Sausage and bacon were salty as expected. Unfortunately the rosti fell short, was looking for a soft fluffy one with a crisp exterior, but this one lacked that softness and plushness of a potato, tasted a bit too raw for our liking. A pity!

2 Eggs Your Way, Bacon, Breakfast Banger, Mushrooms, Tomato, Baby Spinach, Beans & Rustic Bread

Pretty decent, each component was done properly - we particularly enjoyed the rustic bread and juicy earthy mushrooms! Overeasy eggs had a runny yolk within, was cooked nicely. Nothing outstanding but still satisfied.

Beef Ragout and Eggplant melting into each other. Tahini, Pickles, Chili and Parsley. Beef ragout was alright, flavour was good but I am not a fan of minced beef which was used. But the eggplant!!! Super delicious. Some were charred so it had that smoky flavour, all were soft and tender and literally melting into the beef ragout, vv tasty! There was a rly yummy creamy buttery thing in there too, think it was bechamel? Tahini added another dimension of flavour, while the pickles, chili and parsley provided a much needed refreshing element to cut through the heavier flavours. Pita was as usual, super fluffy and wonderful. It’s super saucy so it’s v moist, and I think they added olive oil too. Downside is that it can get pretty messy, and the pita becomes soggy at the very end. Nonetheless, yet another flavour they have done well and I will be back to eat my way through the flavours!

Not bad! The beer battered haddock had a super crunchy batter, fish was meaty and p moist. The coated thick cut chips were surprisingly good, I usually don’t prefer thick cut chips as they tend to be soggy but this wasn’t, it’s thick but flat and has a nice crisp to it! The tartar sauce could be tangier, it didn’t make much of an impact. The mushy peas are quite strongly pea, but it tasted better the more of it I had. Texture was a mix of mash + pea bits so it was quite nice, like a haphazardly mashed avo! It’s nice but on the pricier side. If you want to share a large, do take note there is a min order of 1 food item person, so that’s why we got this + onion rights. The onion rings weren’t great, was crisp and onions were decent too but somehow it was q average.

The mascarpone is light and not jelat! Pistachio layer is v nutty and pistachio-y if you eat it on its own, but a little less pronounced when eaten together with the rest of the components. Ladyfingers were moist and sufficiently soaked, but I do wish there was alcohol (I prefer booster tiramisus) or a stronger coffee flavour. I still liked it, but I think it could have had more than 1 pistachio component (I’m not counting the pistachio dust on top bc it didn’t rly contribute much in terms of flavour) for it to feel more like it’s namesake.

Garganelli texture was done to my liking, slightly soft but not soggy, and at the part where the edges overlap it had an extra nice bite to it. The lamb ragout doesn’t have that smell / gamey-ness so it was very palatable, and the sauce has that interesting beany grainy texture due to the lentils. Like the flavour of the ragout x lentil base, it wasn’t heavily meaty and quite tasty. Wouldn’t say this is a typical pasta I would pick but I was satisfied and I wouldn’t mind having it again after trying all their pastas!

A rich and hearty dish! It came piping hot and the combi of eggplant, tomato sauce, basil, and cheese was flavourful without being too salty.

It’s filled with truffle, mascarpone, and pecorino. Tasted like a creamy mushroom soup with bread! Bread was tasty and lightly crisp outside, though I would have preferred if it was a tiny bit more crunchy. Still enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as amazing as I had expected.

Yum! Every part of the skin is crisp and shatters in the mouth, meat is tender and has a nice ratio of lean to fat - you can eat the leaner inner parts if you prefer less fat! The fennel wasn’t v strong, the feathery fronds added some texture. Loved the mustard which cut through the fattiness of the pork beautifully!

Yummy! The noodles are similar to HK egg noodles, was springy and had a nice bite, tossed in a dark sauce but there was a bit too much sauce tbh. The charsiew was flavourful and tender, but kinda too fatty for my liking - will ask for a leaner cut next time! Lots of veg, lard was crisp and good too! I usually just have 1 smol piece to check if it’s nice and I think this is a worthy one to have. Wantons were delish too! There’s 2 pieces, and each is silky smooth and stuffed to the brim with prawns, pork, scallions, and black fungus. Flavour was great, and was tender and bouncy. Liked that u can add scallions and green chilli on your own.

Avocado, Gouda, King Mushroom, Fried Egg, Miso Tahini, Tomatoes, Brioche. Combi of ingredients was nice, particularly enjoyed the miso tahini which bought an interesting and tasty element to this vegan sandwich. My only gripe would be the bread which was a bit lacklustre. I liked the skinny fries served, wasn’t salty and each piece that I had was crisp!

Tho a bit salty, I liked this a lot! Think it’s got to do with the combi of mushroom, eggs, brown butter, and garlic crumbs - had a very delish, earthy flavour. The pasta was also done properly, had a bite to it but not too hard. There’s spinach for some greens as well! Wouldn’t have ordered this initially but I’m glad we did, tho it’s a little pricey given the portion.
