This type of dessert is totally up my alley, and it did satisfy! A warm tart which wasnât too sweet (the highest praise for desserts in SG đ€Ș) - enjoyed the juicy cubes of pear within, paired with the crunchy almonds and buttery crumble. The tart base was reasonably crunchy, but itâs not the snappy type so it was pretty easy to cut. The lavender ice cream had a similar texture to the fior di latte ice cream, and I liked how fragrant it was without tasting too overwhelming / soapy!

Iâm not usually a cheesecake person, but this was good! Creamy but not too heavy, we liked the flavour too. Would be better if the cookie crust was crunchy! The homemade fior di latte ice cream was light, but not too strongly milky. The ice cream wasnât v creamy, which worked well as the cheesecake provides the creaminess, but on itâs own it could be creamier, this was so light it almost tasted like a sorbet.

Laksa base was quite rich and reasonably creamy, not too spicy, and the soft boiled eggs had a jammy yolk. Lobster meat was sweet and meaty! Bean curd skin was crisp but I would rather swap that out for some taupok. Unfortunately, the capellini did not work well for this dish, as it was too thin, and it didnât have a bite to it - perhaps a thicker noodle would fare better.
found a cheap and good mala at clementi!!! $15 for 2 of us and fed me rlly rlly well :-) itâs the dry kind of mala so not too much gravy, also medium spicy wasnât too spicy so prob can go one level higher??? Ingredients are GENEROUS and yummy!!
my 4th time at second serving - I thought their ice cream ainât spectacular but itâs a nice cosy place in the neighbourhood :-) tried classic waffles for the first time not bad! Hot crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I also tried the mochi chocolate waffle before - remember that it was interesting how it got a bit gelak towards the end so didnât get it again. But can get rlly crowded post dinner - both weekdays and weekends!

I know Iâm saying this for all of the proteins but this was also really soft and tender, the cook in it was well executed. The preserved lemon and tomato concasse added a fresh element to the dish, and the snap peas were nicely blanched too. The mash potato was alright but I prefer a lighter and more buttery one.

The pork belly wasnât too fatty but still really soft and tender even at the lean parts, with a crisp skin on top. I loved the natural sweetness that the poached pear & endive fennel salad brought. The bulldog vinegar jus was sticky and strong and I liked it on its own, but I thought it came on a bit too strong when paired with the pork. This dish also came with chestnut barley, which was alright but I wasnât too keen on - maybe a smokier chestnut flavour would help!

Aggs enjoyed this duck leg confit a lot! It was very tender and not at all gamey, very palatable and the pickled mustard jus added extra flavour to the dish. Was quite a substantial portion of duck! I particularly liked the orange carrot mousse, which was naturally sweet and not very orangey/citrusy, which went well with the duck.

Beef was tender, it went well with the roasted root vegetables and red wine jus. I thought the charred onion was a nice touch. The potato mousseline was a bit too starchy, would have preferred it to be lighter and silkier!

Bao was quite fluffy, and unagi was sweet and slightly smoky. Came with some shredded egg and chives! Decent starter, but a tad pricey.

Liked this starter - was quite refreshing and ćŒè because of the sour flavours from the apple vinaigrette. The salmon cubes were fresh, and there was also ikura shoyu, pickled wakame in the dish. The guac added another layer of creaminess and freshness to the dish.
