Plain prata has a good mix of crisp outers and doughier insides, I thought it was p nice! The egg one also had crispy tops and bottoms, and soft eggy bready insides.
Curry is moderately spicy, but not too spicy such that I had to drink water, but still gives some sort a kick. Had quite a bit of that tomato ish sweetness I feel! Not v thin, thereâs some beans texture to it. I donât eat prata often but this satisfies! I enjoyed these and would come again.
Very nice combi! Scallion cream cheese was fragrant n creamy, and the guac added some refreshing creaminess. With the acidity from the capers and onions and the juicy tomatoes, this made for a good balance of flavours. Bagel itself was decent, I feel like it could have been more crunchy on the outside? The toppings were the highlight.
Peanut is smunchy (smooth + crunchy) and is p thicc, the flowy smooth part sticks to ur teeth and can get a bit cloying. But pb was good! Nicely roasted, slightly salty which balances out the sweeter pancake. I like that itâs v crunchy, lots of large crunchy peanut bits.
Noodles were a little soft, but there was still a ~little~ bit of a bite to it so I was ok (but if youâre the type that only likes al dente/harder noodles then this will be too soft for u). The sauce wasnât too salty, itâs lighter and less jelat compared to their soup ramen so I preferred this. Toppings-wise, the pulled pork wasnât dry, corn was surprisingly juicy and decently sweet, and the ajitama was v nice - soft bouncy whites and runny yolks. I would have gone without the shredded seaweed as it didnât do much for me, and I liked the large sliced scallions.
Overall, this dry ramen was not bad at its price point. Although itâs not something Iâll crave, but I wouldnât mind having it again!
This was nice! Tempura seaweed was crunchy throughout. But the truffle was non-existent. Disregarding that, it was quite a nice snack and wasnât too heavily seasoned. Worth a try!
Gyoza was alright. Filling was mostly cabbage with some minced meat, was relatively juicy! Would have preferred a more crisped up at the bottoms. This was the crunchy deep fried kind.
Braised mushrooms were so juicy and flavourful!! Also liked the lionâs mane which tasted slightly meaty and was a bit fibrousy, yums. Carrots, spinach, and beansprouts were blanched and lightly / not seasoned so it was plain, which was alright since the veggies had their own natural sweetness. Raw cucumbers gave a crunch. Wasnât rly a fan of the tofu nugget, which was not v crunchy and the insides had a kinda sponge texture. Not terrible, but Iâm not about to order the 5pcs tofu nuggets as a side LOL.
Q satisfied as the dish was quite ~juicy~ as a whole. Also portions r huge again so small eaters please take note!
Was a nice bowl of lei cha! Tasted v clean (one of the healthiest Iâve tried). Instead of peanuts, they used cashews, which was interesting but not as crunchy.
I especially liked the mushroom âikan bilisâ, which was crunchy and delish, and the long beans/cabbage/mani cai which were nicely cooked. Tofu was alright, could have been softer. Brown rice was q soft but not mushy. A satisfying lunch! Portions are huge tho I think 2 small eaters can easily share 1 of this.
Again I didnât expect that I would enjoy this so much. The lemon sponge cake was moist with a nice crumb, an became extra moist from the lemon ice cream as it melted. The ice cream was more of a sorbet I feel, as it was rather light and didnât taste like there was cream in it. The little ârocksâ at the side were crunchy like honeycomb without the intense sweetness, and there was a surprise fizziness to it which was a pleasant surprise. As a whole, the dessert was sour enough for me, but also not tooo sour till it makes ur face wrinkle. Definitely donât skip desserts here!
Was really surprised at how good this was! Havenât had such good beef of late. This one was more on the rare side, but was not tough to chew at all - it was a joy to eat. It has a nice sear at the sides, which imparted some wonderful smoky flavours.
The beef was v good, but the other components of the dish were also outstanding. The charred leeks were so fragrant and naturally sweet and flavourful đ€€ also loved the Catalan romesco sauce, a super tasty bell pepper & tomato sauce that was rich but not too heavy.
My friend and I were both rather impressed with this dish!
This came with the egg dish - I ate it on its own, and also dipped it in the runny egg (Yakun vibes anyone?) đ The croissant was crisp and buttery but not dry, and they sprinkled some salt on it which amped up tastiness. Yum!
This was q nice! The potato purée was v tasty. Creamy but not cloying. It looks pale but it has so much flavour. They sprinkled some crunchy Manchego (cheese) crisps, which felt a little like salty fried breadcrumbs, yum! The egg yolk was runny, and the chorizo broth was hearty and savoury, a bit like minestrone.
